Hiroko

There stood a man almongst the moon light. He stood at least 6 foot tall. As the walked into brighter light you could see that his hair was black, jet black, with bight  blood red ends. He wore a torn black leather trench coat with no sleeves which had been torn off most likely in a run in with, how can you say, an old friend. His red fishnet long sleeved shirt under the trench made it stand out like blood coming from the jacket. His black pants looked worn and aged, looking as if they have been worn for years. 1

As he began to walk off the lake with his back to the moon light. He walked slowly to  meet a younger lady who had been watching him as he stared off into the moon light from a distance. As he came close she said nothing but turned towards the direction he was walking in and ran as fast as she could to caught up with him. Once she caught up to him she walked to his left side. The only side he could stand her to be on. As they walked Hiroko grabbed for the cigarettes from his pocket and light it then offering the girl the pack which she turned down this time. Yet as they walked down the lake front she turned to him for the pack again and without a word he handed them to her. 2

After they got away from the lake they reached the spot to which they would sit at the end of every night. After they sat for some time the girl stood up and left Hiroko to himself. As he sat there he thought a loud to himself. He continued to ask himself how he ended up in this world once again? And why this girl he never knew before, or at least as far as he knew, continued to watch after him day after day when he never said a word to her? Hiroko knew deep down in his soul that there was someone there for him he was looking for, or there to save, yet after all this time of looking he could still not find her and continued to look day in and day out. Some girl or some soul was there waiting for him in pain and he was there to find it and bring happiness to himself and the other. Happiness he thought to himself, blowing it off again, knowing happiness was something not for him.3

That night as he walked to his home, or the place he layed his head along the shore side which he called Luna Soleil. As he took a final look at the night sky and feel asleep hoping it would be a night of peaceful sleep. As the sun began to come up from behind the horizon. There stood a man in front of Hiroko. This man was not here to say good morning. He more or less was there to get rid of Hiroko due to the fact of what Hiroko was there to find. The man at this time had no name and was not there to play a game. As Hiroko woke to this man standing in his domain he was startled and shocked as to how this man managed to find where he was. Hiroko's first instinct was to hide to recollect then face the man prepared for the battled. 4

Once Hiroko came out from the shadow's he found the man gone along with his book, the one to which he would write his clues as to where to find his happiness. Obviously this man was out to stop him, like so many others, from finding the one thing that was to bring him happiness. As he set out he grabbed for his shades and his cigarettes and before he got to think twice he was off into the sun to find this man. He had a sense of where the man would go but not always so sure. There was a manson, one which look as if it had been from a scary movie, the manson was called Crailmore. Which was the first place he was to look.5

As he entered the grounds he saw the man once more as he ran into the house. Hiroko walked to the door to find it unlocked. As he entered he saw the book on the floor. As he went to pick it up he stopped, why would someone leave the book they just stole on the floor, in front of the door?  He took a step foward, enough to touch the ground but not enough to fall. Just as he thought the book disappeared as the floor vanished. Ok there is a psycho here. As Hiroko walked through the house he found a young man who told him about the man known as Shane Wright.6

Shane knew of the girl he was looking for. It had been a dear friend who turned him down years ago for she knew she was waiting for someone to bring her happiness. Shane laught at the idea and let her go, telling her that he would be the one to bring her happiness or noone would. Hiroko asked the boy where he could be found and they boy pointed him in the direction of a staircase which lead to the basement of the manson. Once he got to the bottom all Hiroko heard was this laughing, as if he has walked into hell freely. 7

Shane stood there in front of a fire place looking in the book, laughing. Shane turned around to face Hiroko and said "you have this girl all wong, she is not going to bring you happiness your suppost to bring her happiness."  Shane threw the book at Hiroko for he no longer needed the paper on the pages. Shane told Hiroko "I am not out to be the bad guy here trust me, all I wanted to know is where to find her, see she was once my love you know, but turned me away waiting for someone to bring her happiness." 8

As Hiroko turned and walked to the stair case, he felt the need to turn around and once he did he saw Shane holding a picture of a young girl. The girl who would spend night after night with him watching him on the beach. Hiroko asked Shane why he had the picture and Shane answered, "would you stop looking for this girl to bring you happiness if her life was in danger?" Hiroko was at a lost for words. As he thought to himself, why is her life in danger? Hiroko then asked him why? " If you want this girl to live to see you tonight give up your quest for the one who makes you happy and I will allow her to live to see tonight, instead of kill her the moment you leave this house" said shane sidistically. Hiroko looked at his notebook and then to the picture of the girl who was there every night and said to Shane, " I will give up my quest but you can not kill the girl." After this was said he walked up the stairs and out the door to see none other but the girl that spent her nights with him. 9

As they walked back to the lake Hiroko turned to the girl and said "Can I at least have a name by which to call you?" The girl turn to him and said " My name is Ileana". She looked at him confusied as to why he desided to talk to her now, why not months ago when he starngely came to this world. Once they reached the beach he walked out to the rocks this time having Ileana come out with him as to explain to her his story. 10

I do not belong in this world which I am sure you already know. I got placed on Coventry Island looking for someone. Who I have no idea who it was to be, but this person was to bring me happiness. As I was to bring her happiness. I came here and have been running into one person after another trying to stop me from finding her. Today a man by the name a Shane Wright got ahold of a notebook which I kept all the clues I had gathered from the past on who or where I could find her at, yet none of them have been right, yet I kept them all the same hoping one day I could come back to them and they be correct. Tonight this man gave me a choice, to either continue to look for her or to save your life. Of course as you are still alive I choose to save you instead of looking for something I may die looking for.  Hiroko looked at the girl "are you following me so far?" Ileana looked at him with tears in her eyes, " I wish I would have known you where looking for someone sooner did you ever think the person you where looking for was sitting right next to you and you never thought to look to your left." Hiroko looked at her like she was crazy. Ileana said "I would sit her night in and night out knowing you could make me happy yet did not want to jump to you and hope you where looking for someone also. Until you told me of how you where looking for someone who was just as unhappy as yourself. I know I may not be who you are looking for just as you may not be the person I am looking for, but for now we can make each other happy until the right one comes long some day." After hearing this Hiroko looking away from Ileana knowing she was right and he felt wrong for not talking sooner. 11

That night they sat on the rocks till the moon had fallen behind them and the sun began to rise, which then is when Hiroko returned to Luna Soleil as Ileana returned to her home, promising one another to meet again same time same place that night. Hoping all would go well and things would become better in there lifes. That night as he walked to his home alone he thought over and over to himself, how could I be so blind? She has been her the whole time and I was too blind to see it? At least she is here now. As he laid his head on his pillow the last thing he saw in his mind before falling asleep was her eyes against the moon light and knowing he would see them again as soon as the sun disappeared into the horizon as the moon would lite there hearts on the rocks for each other. And there he slept at peace with himself for once in what has been so long.12
