Children, Teenagers, Adults

Children...1

They cry,
They laugh,
They love,
They hate,2

Always will they fall.
They fall and hurt themselves,
giving themselves thick scabs.3

But always will they rise.
They learn and stand up,
giving themselves chances.4

Teenagers...5

They hope,
They lose,
They protect,
They kill,
They know,
They forget,6

Always will they fall.
They fall and lose themselves,
giving themselves cuts to the core.7

But always will they rise.
They recover and find themselves,
giving themselves the rights to smile.8

Adults...9

They think,
They listen,
They misstep,
They care,
They stop,
They try,10

Always will they fall,
They fall and tire themselves,
giving themselves hard times.11

But always will they rise.
They refresh and try a new way themselves,
giving themselves a new hope and a new start.12

That's what we do.
That's what human beings do.13

Always will we fall,
But always will we rise.

    Yup, good thoughts...

..But hardly new, m'dear...we use that when children learn to walk, they must fall as they learn.

But as we grow, we learn and fewer mistakes are made and maturity, adulthood, means that you have arrived and do not make the mistakes of childhood or adolescence....

Not to say that adults are perfect or can even reach perfection...but thas as different can of worms and you have to get their first....

    smiles....

I vote you rhyme/rhythm it :-P. It might be even MORE powerful that way.

    like... (this is shitty but)
    They cry,
    They laugh,
    They love,
    They hate,2

    Always will they fall.
Thick scabs are their only fate.

    :-D very universal concept.
