Once upon a modern time, there was a happy cow, a big and not so fat cow, one who ate herbs and grass from a poor organic farm in northern Vermont. Her name was Curmudgeon. 1
Her owner, Skinty Flint, was an old hippy who had migrated from Manhattan in an old VW bus he bought for much more than it was worth, from a Jamaican woman named Grandma Gerty Jones, who lived not too far from Kenner neighbourhood in Brooklyn. Her son had rebuilt the engine, but then he got killed in a shootout with corrupt cops.2
One day Mr Flint won the New York state lotto, after he had gone over to visit his richer relatives in Westchester County, New York state. So Mr Skinty Flint and the cow took a cruise to a tropical island with much more lush grass and good things for both to eat. 3
And they lived happily ever after.
