Like the wind.

I float away into non-existence1

Watching my life crumble beneath me. 2

The people rushing, panicking, 3

Trying to fill my soul with life once again. 4

They try, and try. They fail, and fail. 5

And still, I lay here motionless. 6

Eyes half shut, lifeless, and blank. 7

You whine because you couldn’t save me. 8

I'm cold now. My skin white as snow.9

You weep to no avail, over my bloody body. 10

The rushing halts,11

And tears fall, knowing it's too late. 12

Funeral planned, family in notice.13

News spread, "young girl murdered"14

You read my journal, and fine a note. 15

Titled 'If I die'16

And so, you read. And here it is. 17

'If I die'18

"Burry me near my home,19

Somewhere in the forest. 20

Surround my grave, which I want a cross21

In white roses. 22

Burry me, with my book filled with23

Poems and abstracts. 24

You'll find it underneath the floor boards,25

Of the left side in my room. 26

Cover my body with a black sheet,27

Only leaving my face visible. 28

Put me into the black, mid length dress,29

That my brother gifted me on my 10th Birthday. 30

Coat my eyes with eye liner of black,31

And eye shadow of grey. 32

And when I’m buried, play the song33

I wrote and sang with my guitar, just 2 weeks in past. 34

And promise me,35

You'll move on. 36

And burn this note, next to my grave”37

And here I am, now your unseen angel.38

You can’t see me, but I can see you. 39

I'll protect you with my will to stay by your side,40

Even in death, I'll always be with you. 41

Now, I float and fly with the wind.42

Like the wind. 43

I smile and look into your eyes, 44

I see it, you miss me. 45

And you’re thinking one thing. 46

Revenge. 47

And still, I smile. Because that makes me happy,48

To know that I was loved so much. 49
