Cold As Ice:3 (Syria's P.O.V)

The news came quickly to my room. That bastard had recovered two runaways. I wondered who the unlucky fuckers were and left my room to find out.1

"Syria! Dear, your brother is back!! So, is Jacoby." smirked Takara. Takara always had this nagging smirk on her face when runaway's where caught. She knew as well as I did what the punishment was. It changed everytime, but since it was their first offense, they would be walked on a leash everywhere. 2

I looked down the hall towards Stacy's office. Jacoby and Kegan were sitting on the floor playing rock paper scissors to pass the time. Stacy walked out of her off ice and I quickly headed toward our kitchen. 3

I opened the fridge and grabbed some eggs that had been cooked a few days ago. They looked decent enough to eat so I popped them in the microwave to heat up. While they were heating up I grabbed a glass of one month stale orange juice. The timer went off on the microwave and I sat down to eat. After I was done I decided to see if Jacoby and Kegan were out yet. 4

Walking towards Stacy's office, I hear Jacoby crying and Kegan trying to shut him up. It wasn't smart to cry around Stacy. She took it as a sign of weakness and used it against you. It was bad when she did to. 5

I headed back to the kitchen and sat on the couch listening to our highly outdated radio. After about twenty minutes or so Kegan and Jacoby entered the room. Kegan came over and sat on me. I hugged him and asked him how he got caught. After him explaining our abbusive mom and the guy in the subway he got some eggs. That's all there really was to eat around here unless oyu wanted to hunt down a rat.6

Jamia walked in the room about 10 minutes later and asked what I was doing today. I totally fogot it was my free day today. I wanted to ask Stacy if I could take Kegan to the mall. I was sure he hadn't been in a while and it was always a great place to hang out and catch up. 7

I started towards Stacy's office and stepped in to ask. 8

"Hey." I smiled.
"So, what are you doing today?" asked Stacy.
"Going to the mall."
"I see."
"I was wondering if I could take Kegan with me."
"No."
"I'll keep him on a leash!"
"No."9

"You can have ur goons... erm I mean guards watch us if you want."
She seemed to think about it and replied, "Fine ,but you better not let him get away. I'm not afraid to sick those damn mutts on him."10

I smiled widely and said "Deal, you won't need the dogs I promise."11

After that I was off to get Kegan to go to the mall.
