Untitled (One Sided Dialog)

-Hey, how're you doing?1

-That's good, real good to hear.  Yeah, I guess I'm doing all right.2

-Yeah, I've been growing my hair out, it's getting long I guess.  Oh?  You look kind of different.  It's still you in there, though.3

-Oh, these?  Must've gotten scratched by the cat.  No, that's not a lie, we both gave that up, remember?  Oh, you too?  Well okay, I slipped up and did a job on my wrists last week.4

-No, I swear I'm quitting the pills.  Yeah, I know I don't need them anymore.5

-Oh, my mom?  We don't talk.  I guess I'm okay with it.  It gets kind of lonely every once in awhile.  Sure beats the smack, though.6

-Can we stop talking about my problems?  It gets real painful.  I don't need to cry, are you crazy?  Crying's for people who are too weak to actually figure out what's wrong with them7

-Nothing's wrong with me, I just deal with my problems differently.  Well, lately, I've been dumped, beat up, called names, and whored myself out, and done drugs.  No, it's okay, I don't need coffee.  My stomach got screwed up and now I can't have caffeine, remember?  I really should be going.8

-Okay, sounds good.  Call me soon (even though I know you probably wont) And, one more thing.  Please, please give me a hug so I know I was really here.9
