The Day I Turned- Chapter One

A young female walked slowly up to the doors of an abandoned church, welded shut with weight and age. Her long midnight black hair, was a gentle touch to her beautiful curved body. Her clothes were worn, and old, but her beauty was undiminished. Her bright, frightening, blue eyes, were the only light in the darkness.1

Some of the men she was with that night, tried to push open the door. The door wouldn't budge, no matter how hard they pushed. The young woman pushed the door open with ease. She motioned for the men to follow, and walked indside, blue eyes flashing.2

When all the people were inside, the female of the group, pushed the door closed. The darkness surrounded her, but did not make her nervous. As she walked up the center aisle, the men stayed at the back. They were very much afraid of the dark.3

When the woman was at the front of the church, she collapsed. A small window on the ceiling, cast wavering moonlight upon her. In the back of the room, each man fell dead, one after the other. With her last bit of conciousness, the lady saw someone crash through the small skylight, and pick her up.4

As the person who picked her up jumped through the whole he created, he gently stroked the womans face. He jumped from roof top, to roof top, avoiding unbelieving eyes, as he quickly made his way "home", with his trophy.5

As he neared his home, his fellow "family members", came outside to see who he had in his arms. They all shrank bak in fear when the lady's hair was blown out of her face by the soft wind. She was important to the humans. All Vampires despised and feared her. Now she would become one of them, and they would have to worship her...
