Back stepping in shock, Talen stupidly stared at Darcia in utter terror. He hadn't planned on this happening. What had gone wrong? How could she even be standing? Talen then looked passed Darcia to see Drake tiredly sitting against the wall and his sharp vision noticed a bite mark on his neck. Then it all made sense.1
But Talen had no time to ask questions. Darcia stalked towards him, grabbed the collar of his shirt and yanked him close so she could stare into his eyes. Talen just about wet himself. As he stared into Darcia's eyes, he could see the red tinting her golden irises. The demon in her was just barely being contained. She then turned and shoved him into the dungeon, shutting the door. Drake dizzily watches as Darcia shackled Talen to a new set of chains. 2
"What are you going to do to me, Darcia?" asked Talen but was prompted to be silent after a stinging backhand to the face. Darcia's nails extended and she firmly gripped Talen's chin in her hand, her nails threatening to pierce his skin. 3
"I'm going to do exactly what you did to me, only worse. I want some answers, Love." 4
Talen's eyes suddenly lit up and he growled inwardly but knew better than to piss off his sire. The vampiress grinned at this, her fangs gleaming in the reflected sunlight not too far from them. She then took a tool dagger from Talen's belt and slowly cut down the middle of his shirt. Talen began to shiver both in excitement and fear. Darcia had always been unpredictable during their past heated love-making but she was practically a stranger when it came to torture. She was the mistress of pain. She knew every possible way to get someone to bend to her will. Talen had seen what she was capable of. And not just with vampires either. She had tortured humans. 5
The vampiress pulled the two halves of Talen's shirt aside and lazily dragged the blade over his skin. Goosebumps sprouted and Talen squirmed. He looked up at Darcia's face and noted by the way her eyes looked that she was enjoyed his unease. Then her eyes darkened and she pressed the tip of the blade against the skin of his stomach and asked:6
"Why did you kill Fawn?"7
"Why do you care, Darcia? She was only a mortal. Nothing. Just like the one over there." 8
Talen motioned his head towards Drake, who had been slowly regaining his sense back. He only glared at Talen, though.9
Darcia plunged the blade into Talen's left side, ripping a ragged, pain-filled gasp from the vampire.10
"Why."11
It was not a question this time, but a demand. Darcia did not want to harm her own creation any more than necessary, no matter what he put her through. Talen bared his fangs at her, his eyes glowing red in rage. He growled low and threatening. Gritting his teeth.12
"She provoked you during the meeting. Even though I am against you now, mortals should not dare to treat us, their superiors, like their own. Besides," Talen grinned, "She was great in bed. A pity it couldn't last."13
Darcia's anger flared for a moment but the immediately calmed herself. She took hold of the dagger and harshly pulled it from Talen's body, causing him to cry out in pain but instead of a normal "cry" it sounded like a low hiss with a growl.14

Oh wow... I just read all of the previous chapters as well o.o This story is absolutely.. wow I can't even think of a word for it. Grrr I wish she would just murder Talen >.< but that wouldn't be polite, now would it.. *smirks sarcastically* annnyway lol I absolutely adore this story! I can' wait to read more. please tell me when you post the next chapter

Great chapter. I did find myself wondering a bit, so I do think that you could have done a little better. But I realize that when it is somehting you have to force yourself to doing it can have bad results. However, again I can' wait for the next chapter. THis is like my new Soap Opra of the month! -

Muhahaha! I secretly (well, not secret anymore) wonder how Bakudo will come into this? Will he be a servant of Darcia's, or Talen? Will he "save" Talen? Wil he help Darcia? Questions, questions...
