We took Las Vegas today. It was difficult with most of us wounded or gone. But we pushed forward and cornered the majority of them. We set up camp last night, and we move out (to Reno) in the morning. I cleared out group of homes last week along with the rest of my platoon, discovering what we feared. Our orders clearly stated, Eliminate and protect. Eliminate and protect. Eliminate and protect. Elminiate the enemy to protect ourselves. I felt so selfish. But it was a game of eliminate or be eliminated. The children cried as we shot their mothers. I almost took the gun to my own head. But thoughts of my own child flooded in. I fear insanity the most now. 3

The pain grew to a roar so I was ordered to seek medical attention. It is as I feared. I have contracted influenza. The string is more violent than the last. I was told I probably inhaled it when we were attacked in Vegas. This warfare will be the death of me.6

This is my last entry. I hope that I am not dying in vain. I've seen more than I'd ever wanted to. The pain is bad now, spreading through my body like cancer. 3053 has not been a good year. The flu killed more than thirty percent of the earth's population, and America's state of California finally fell into the ocean. I guess I'm lucky my home is in Arizona. My property is now only thirteen miles from the ocean, and it is now worth five times what it was. My family will be well cared for when I am gone. I should be thankful, it is thanksgiving. But for now, I'll keep my list short. I am thankful for:9
1) My family.10
2) My strong beliefs.11
That's all I can think of right now, in no particular order. We're having chicken for dinner. The turkey from Foster Farms was contaminated and recalled. Of course, being America, we panicked and pulled all turkey from the shelves. The civil war has not ended and has, in fact, progressed. It is said that 90% of the world is against us in this one. I don't blame them. We took their country away. They're only trying to get it back.12
Well, it's dinner time. 13

I can't beleive no one has applauded this. It's so creative and unique. Well, at least I've never seen anything POV a soldier in a future war. I love 'Eliminate and Protect'. It's probably really true for them. And the flu killed 30% of the population.. yeah, it could happen.
I really love this. Good show.
