Distinguishing features: COVERED in freckles which makes her appear younger, ears pierced twice in each, a small scar on the back of her left arm from tripping down a flight of stairs when she was seven and a very well hidden tattoo of a Celtic knot work three leaf clover10

Personality: Even through the harshness of growing up with her mother, Emmie is-by all accounts- bubbly! She loves to laugh and make other do the same, while being witty and smart-assed. She has a tendency to be down on her self, stemming from her mother's constant harassment, and is only really studious when the subject is one she loves. She is much more likely to run to the rescue of someone else rather than stick up for herself.11

Likes: art, laughing, new experiences, adventures, baking, the smell of fresh cut grass, and babies12

Dislikes: peas, spiders, closed in places, mean people, her father, being told what to do, and failure at something.13

Hobbies: she paints and sketches, loves to bake, volunteers at the children's wing at her local hospital, and actually enjoys waitressing14

Weaknesses: terrified of spiders! is horrible at math and really bad at keeping her temper when it comes to anything that she thinks is 'injustice', tends to be mouthy when nervous. 15

Background: Emmie grew up alone with her mother after her father decided that a wife and child where not to his liking. She was raised in a harsh household full of discipline and her mother's exacting moods. Nothing Emmie ever did was good enough, nor was she ever going to be smart or pretty enough, but she knows her mother was only looking out for her. Emmie is a great student about the things she cares about, mostly art. She was accepted to Academy of Art University in San Fransisco , but then her mother got "Sick" and Emmie decided to turn down the full scholarship to take care of her (*Read: her mom threw a huge fit, pretended to be sick, and Emmie was forced to stay home on a guilt trip from hell*). Through high school she had many friends, but only one real best friend, Lucas Neilson, who later became her boyfriend. Her mother never really approved but didn't say much till they announced they were getting married. Suddenly she was "Sick" again, causing Emmie to put off planning the wedding. That was till Lucas basically bullied her into a date. About two months before the wedding, he changed, and became argumentative, demanding, suspicious and mean. Then a week before the wedding, he called it off and refused to tell her why, all during which time Crystal became stronger and stronger (*imagine my surprise!*) A little more time went by, with Emmie working at a local diner, and living at home like a hermit. Suddenly her mother really was sick, and it was discovered that Crystal had breast cancer and it had spread through her body, causing it to be to late for radiation treatments or surgery. After six months of struggling, Crystal finally died, cursing Emmie's father and his lack of love or taking care of her with her last breath. Since then, Emmie has decided to track down her father and let him know about the child he left behind and the wife he murdered by not loving her enough.16

Expectations of life in the Valley: Emmie is looking to cause David as much grief as possible, taking some sort of satisfaction out of his misery.17

Special power: unknown telepathic abilities- she just assumes she is a good guesser, or has a good memory.18
