A Love Unbroken

This is a story about the beauty of love, but also its ups, downs, and in-betweens. This is story about the life of Andrew Ramos and the tragedy of his first love. This is the story of A Love Unbroken.1

Throughout his life, Andrew has always been known as the smart, quiet kid in school. His main focus has always been schoolwork and girls had been the least of his concern. 2

While in elementary and middle school, Andrew’s grades were always A’s and he was nominated for a few community awards. But as his final year of middle school winded down, Andrew began to worry about what to expect in high school. 3

He had heard many rumors about what happens in high school; some of which he liked, some of which he didn’t. He had a growing fear that he’d be the least popular kid in school and he did not want that to happen.4

Therefore, during the summer before his freshman year, Andrew asked his older brother Michael as many questions about high school as he could think of. 5

And as the summer winded down to its final day, Andrew hoped and prayed that he’d be able to make some new friends and keep his grades up. 6

So when night came, Andrew went to bed with a fear of the unknown. He closed his eyes and went to sleep, knowing that a new chapter of his life was about to unfold. 7

  • I like this a lot. I wouldn't really call this a prologue, it's more like something you read on the back of the book to find out what the book is about.

I could be wrong. I write prologues too and mine is written in a different style. There could be different types of prologues, I'm not too sure.

Anyways I really like it and I hope you plan to write the story. Thank you for entering this into my contest

Nice prologue. But I'd personally love to see more detail. Remember tell instead of show, sometimes...but I think it's an exception here! Such a way to make ME nervous. I'll be doing this around August. Beautiful way to start, though!!! I'd like to read more. Message me if/when you post it! Bye for now.
