"Rock, paper, scissors?" Max asked Emily as they wait for Justin, John, Nathan and. "If it will keep the time going, okay!" Emily said. But before they even started a game Justin comes and interrupts, "Ready to go?" Emily jumps and walks with Max to the car. As they entered the car I asked the two, "Are you two going out?" Emily blushes and answers ,“Uh...no, we're just friends." With an unhappy face Max looks to me and says,"Yeah, we're just friends." I sat between Nathan and John, just in case they fought again. During the ride to LA for our picture, all of a sudden the car stopped. "Kids, just stay here while I check what's going out.," Justin's father said. We all looked at each other until we heard from Justin's father again. "Sorry kids, but uhm, this might take awhile to fix," says Justin's father, "We're in the middle of nowhere, so I don't know how to get out of here, just sit while I try to fix this stupid car." Smiles had turned to frowns, and we all just sat for awhile. "Hey, let's make this worth it, I don't want to just stay quiet the whole time, let's play a game?" Nathan had said. With our confused faces Justin asked, “Yeah...great...but what kind of game?" I looked around to see who had and idea, then to Emily, "OH! My cousins and I play a game where one person asks a question to a person or people, then that person has to answer truthfully. The rest of us has to guess whether he/she is lying." I got so excited, we all agreed to that game. Nathan was first to start. "Okay, Nathan, go and ask anybody a question." Emily said right after she had explained the rules. "Okay then." Nathan said, “Uh...John...uhm, before Lilana and I had gone out the first time, how long did you like her?” I blushed right when he said my name. Nathan and I had went out a first time but went our separate ways for eighth grade. I looked at Nathan, then to John who was looking at Max. “Well Nathan, don’t get mad or anything, ‘kay? I started liking her awhile before…and I still like her to this point,” John answered. I looked down and wondered why, why my best friend John, had never told me that before. “I think he’s telling the truth,” Max says as he looked my way. “I think he is too” I said. Everybody else had agree, well everybody except Justin, who was eating a burger. “Okay, so I guess it’s my turn now,” Emily says, “ Well, uhm, my question is for Justin.” Justin puts his burger down and says, “ Ask away.” Justin picks up his burger again as Emily thinks of a question, “Justin, who are the girls in the group that you are seeing or think you’re seeing?” Justin dropped his burger and answered. “Eh…nobody.” I jumped up as I yelled out, “Lies, lies and filled with lies!” Max laughed as he said, “Yeah, right Justin! You know you’re seeing Lilana!” Justin’s face turned red as he sat down. “Uhm, okay, Max, it’s your turn now?” Nathan asked, as he held my hand. “Mhm. I have a question for Emily.” Emily smiles and says “Okay, what’s the question?” Max looks to me and mouths if he should ask her out, I nod my head. Max had been crushing on Emily for as long as I can remember. “Any day now,” I say as we all wait for the question. Max took a deep breath and asked, “ Emily, will you go out with me?” Emily blushes as she turned his way and answered, “Yes, I will” I smile at Max as mouthed out thank you. “Oh my gosh finally Max!” John said, “I have been waiting forever!” We all laughed as Justin says, “Well I guess it’s my turn!” As we quiet down, we all wait for Justin to ask a question. “Nope, got nothing.” Justin points to John and says, “You go John.” John looks up and looks around, “My question is for Max.” Max sat quietly and waited for his question. “Okay, Max, you and Emily were stuck in an elevator, what would you two be doing?” John asks. John had always had the dirty mind and would always say very random things. Max looks out an says, “We would both just sit and talk, or just wait for someone to help us.” John laughs, and says, “You have always -” But before John could even finish his sentence, Justin’s father interrupted and said, “Okay, kids I don’t think I can fix this, so I’m gonna walk ahead and see if anybody can help us. So can you please, stay out of trouble?” We looked at him as I answered, “ Okay, we’ll be good kids!” Justin laughed as his father left. “Like yeah right Lilana. Stop with the other lies,” Justin said as he continued to laugh, “Okay, I’m finished, now it’s your turn Lilana.” I froze and thought of a question. I turned to Emily and asked her, “What do you see in Max?” Both Max and Emily smiled. “Right now, I can’t explain how I feel, I’ve liked him for so long . It’s like this, you like someone so much that you cannot say why. It’s just a feeling you know that, that person might be the one. The one who steals my heart.” Emily had answered. Emily was my inspiration, I learned almost everything from her. This was the first time she had learned from me. “It’s just like what Lilana had told me, when I asked her the same,” Emily said. “AWH!” Justin said, “How cute.” It was past my turn going back to Nathan “Lilana, this question is for you.” Nathan said, “Are you going to accept the invite from New York?” I looked to Nathan and remembered John and I ad gotten a acceptance letter from a performing arts school in New York. “My decision would have to be a no, because I worked too hard for my life to be how it is right now, and I don’t want to start all over again.” I said. John looked to Nathan and said, “For me, I am going to go. But I am going to just visit and check out the school, so I am just half yes, half no.” Emily gasped and said, “Are you sure about that?” John nodded and said, “I can’t take the drama anymore, Jessica is mad enough, and I don’t want to fight with Nathan anymore. I don’t want to face this all over again.” Jessica was John’s ex-girlfriend and had fought over stupid things. It was John’s turn, and he had asked, “Emily, what is this game called?” Everybody else had also been wondering too, and she answered, “Oh, I don’t know, my cousins never had a title for it.” John looked to me and said, “Lilana, your good with titles, what do you think this game should be called?” I smiled and thought about it. In awhile Justin’s father had come back and said “Okay, there’s nothing ahead. So I guess we all just have to wait for somebody to find us.” I couldn’t take this anymore so I just said, “Uhm, uncle, I can just get John’s limo driver, he can get us.” looking confused he said, “Okay…that’s great, but how come you didn’t say anything awhile ago?” Max looked to me and also asked, “Yeah. How come?” I looked at them both and said “I guess I was just having so much fun playing a game. Sorry uncle.” Justin’s father climbed to his seat and said, “Oh okay, what’s the game called anyway Lilana?” I looked to the group and smiled. “Confessions?” I said as I saw every single person nod their heads. They all smiled and we continued playing our game.
