“Amy, we’ve been through this more times than I can remember,” Amy’s boss, Timothy, said with a sigh.1
So why don’t you keep your fat mouth shut then, Amy thought angrily, looking Timothy straight in the eyes.2
“Now, far be it from me to criticize other people-,” Timothy droned.3
As if it is, Amy thought. Before you were born, criticism was just a negative thing. You’ve practically made it a religion.4
“,but you are probably the most troublesome employee Target has ever seen.”5
Employee, ha, thought Amy. Twelve dollars an hour to tell fat women that they look good in too-tight dresses sucks.6
“Now, if I wasn’t an excellent boss, you’d have been out of here before you could say ‘but’,” Timothy continued, “ and next week when your new boss comes you are going to need to learn to toe the line.”7
“We’ve been through all of this complete trash before, Timothy,” interrupted Amy, sounding bored and speaking for the first time, “and I fail to see why telling a little girl that Barbie is a fake idiotic wannabe is a fireable offence, as you so tactfully put it.”8
Timothy glared at her, looking worn out. “You know full well that ‘wannabe’ is not quite the way you put it to young Isobel, Amy. You can’t just swear at five year old girls out shopping with their mothers.”9
“I thought she was six,” said Amy cheekily. The system isn’t going to beat me today.10
“Amy, your job is not to tell young girls not to buy Barbie dolls. That’s for people who sell Bratz dolls. Your job is to help people decide what to buy from the clothing department, not the toy department. That’s the difference between you and Theresa.”11
No, the difference between me and Theresa is that I can count to three without getting confused and having to start again. Also, I’m not Spanish, Amy countered to herself. 12
More next time!13
Please tell me what you think, I really appreciate it and I know its not the world's smartest story but hey, I'm 12, Whaddaya expect.

I loved this, Chrissie! I love how it reveals a lot of personality in each character, especially Amy. I had to read it aloud, it was so wonderful. Amy's personality reminded me of myself!
Keep it up!

I know I read this before and I could have sworn I commented on it hmmm. LOL this is completely hilarious. Man that Theresa sounds like some of the employees I have seen at places. I honestly wonder how some can get a job! I mean really they have no brains. The WalMart here has a couple employees that makes me wonder how they even have sense enough to tie their shoe laces lmao. I love Amy she is so cool and funny.
