What do you see?
Whenever you look at me?
Is it that scared little kid?
Or is it that confident boy?1
What do you see?
When you look into my eyes?
Is it a derenged youth?
Or is it a depressed child?2
Is what you see real?
Do you believe whatever catches your gaze?
Do you dweel on what lies outside?
Or can you see within?3
What do you see?
When you glance upon my small frame?
Is it my messy head of hair?
Or is it the meek little smile I give you,
Whenever you look at me in the eye?4
You see,
And They see,
But i'll tell you now,
Appearences can be decieving.5
When I look at you,
I see someone athletic,
Someone with many friends,
Someone who'd it'd be cool to pal around with.6
When I look at you,
I see that hair that resembles mine so much.
I see those ching in your eyes.
I see that smile that pulled me in from the start.7
But I see someone else,
When luck lets me see you alone.
I see someone somewhat of a loner.
I see who you really are.8
I want to see more of you,
But I bet I wont get that chance.
Your too popular too be seen with me,
No matter how much I want you.9
God, dont I sound like a fag?
I see my emotions getting the best of me
I see myself getting excited,
And...I see you staring from across the room.10
I shouldn't get my hopes up.
I know your not gay.
Not even the smallest hint could prove me otherwise,
Although I see that glint of hope.11
What do you see Eric?
When you look at me in the eye.
Do you see the love i'm willing to give?
Or do you see a monster, waiting to cry?

This a pretty cute poem. No I am not gay or lesbian but the emotions are all the same. Maybe one day you'll get that chance with him. The only way u can get anything tho is to work for it. Life is to short to wait for thinjgs to come to you. Just go to them and give yourself some happiness. Whats to loose, nothing but there might be somthing to gain.
