There he was. . .wow, he was great. So great I had no idea what to say to him. It was teen center night, and there he was, Mike Maxo, standing on the dance floor, just staring at what i thought was me, or someone behind me. 1
Don't get me wrong, Mike is NOT a perfect guy. Sure, he plays the guitar, and he's in the school Jazz Band. He is actually on the heavy side, and his face is a little too round, you know what I mean? He is actually a cool figure in our school RCMS, River City Middle School. I knew he was a cool person, and I wasn't, but I had never realized it that much, there had always been a hope. and now it's gone. 2
There he was chatting with none other than Kate Winslom, one of the schools prettier girls. when i saw that i realized that he would only be who he's SUPPOSED to be, and never branch out for a girl like me. I was on the dance floor but when Fergalicious was blasting through the speakers, i wasn't exactly FEELING IN THE MOOD. you know, i actually used to think that i could have been friends with this guy, and maybe we could have just been great friends. I didn't have to be his girlfriend. . .i was ok with that. But now, i know that he would actually choose Kate over me, and that will bring me down.

I agree with the slang thing but I like this
I know how it feels too, TO have that hope puled away but sometimes you just have to get things off your chest. We all die someday, you can't worry too much about things -
Good story. Just you say "you know" and overused slang a lot, so you might want to take that stuff out. Other that that, good job.
