I placed my hand over my forehead. As I opened my eyes the sky was already dark. I sat up and looked around. All I saw was a crackling campfire and yet no one in sight. I stood up and looked around, the darkness and the shadows of the forest surrounded me. I wondered what happened to the orcs, elves and my savior. As my mind started to wander thinking about what happened, I heard a beautiful voice behind me.1
“So, you’re awake”2
I turned around and what I believed to be my savior. She was a beautiful lady with an awesome figure, the curves that seems to cut so perfectly into her sides. She was standing over in the darkness of the forest. She was dressed in white linen dress. No, there is something different; I tried to jolt the memory of her that I saw before I passed out.3
“Are you okay?” she said while she took a few steps closer towards me. One could see how beautiful she was now, with her brown long silky hair, a stellar hairpin that goes with it. She has such a warm smile and her eyes are as blue as the ocean. She had a smooth and white skin that blended with the white linen dress that she was wearing. 4
“I’m okay, anyways thanks for saving me”5
“It was my pleasure.”6
“I’m Kojiro; do I have the honor to know my savior’s name?”7
“Nice to meet you Kojiro and I’m Astelia”8
“The name is sure as beautiful as the person”9
“Thank you” she said while smiling. While she sat down beside the campfire, she materialized a goblet of some sort that contained a queer looking liquid that gave out a very strong scent.10
“Don’t worry this scent will make you feel refreshed, it will help you to recover your magical energy. Please take a seat”11
As I inhaled in the scent, I did feel somewhat my energy began to recover much quickly. I took a seat opposite of her.12
“What is a lady like you doing in this forest?”13
“I just happen to be gathering some herbs when I saw you falling from the sky. So I decided to save you.”14
Snow white wings. An image began to form in my mind. Wings behind her ears. Blurry images started to form in my mind.15
I closed my eyes letting those images flood into my mind. I did not notice that she was walking towards me. Suddenly, I felt a searing pain in my head. A drowsy feeling, I thought that I was going to faint.16
“Now, now it seems like my boy here got a headache.”17
“Ugh, how did you know?” I said while holding my forehead with my palm, trying to fight back the drowsiness.18
“Let it take over you, you know what you truly desire” She says with an alluring voice while pushing me to the ground and sitting on top of me. Slowly she started to take pull down the white linen straps that clung to her shoulders. By now my mind was already taking over me. 19
She’s offering herself to you, consume her now, you know you want her. What more could you ask for? She’s beautiful, charming and sexy. Unconsciously my hands slowly stretched towards her shoulders, wanting to pull her closer to me, feeling every inch of her body closer to mine. 20
Out of a sudden, the goblet flew into the fire, removing the strong over powering scent. My mind started working consciously again, much clearer than before. The image of my savior started to become clearer. She was wearing a green skirt with a brown and beige vest on her. A red colored jacket that is accompanied by a short green cloak that stretches only until her waist. What is distinctive was she had a pair of white pristine wings that seems to grow behind her ears. It was so white and pure and the wings that spread backwards. It looks as if she was wearing a headset just without the listening pads. Instead have wings that spread straight backwards like an accessory that a girl would wear. She looks exactly like Astelia just without the wings and different clothes. She wore white colored lady shoes to compliment her garment.21
Surprised, she jumped off me and stood beside me, she pulled back the straps to her shoulders. She hung an angry look on her face as she swept her view around but saw nothing around.22
“Who’s there?! Show yourself!” she said with an angry tone.23
“Melodies that binds the heart, materialize and bind all my enemies! Melodic Chains!!”
A magical seal started to appear below Astelia’s feet. Musical notes started to appear around her and suddenly all spun around her, and started to link up together turning into chains that bind her to the ground. All of these happened in such a short time that she didn’t have any time to react to it.24
“Show yourself! Who is doing this to me?” Astelia said. 25
Suddenly a figure jumped down from one of the trees on top. She landed gracefully on the ground. As I sat up and opened my eyes. I saw her. The girl was wearing the exact clothes as I last saw her before I passed out. I thought, and then who is this Astelia all these while?26
“What are you trying to do to him vile woman?” She said with an accusing tone.27
“I was just trying to satisfy a young man’s desire. Aww don’t tell me you’re jealous aren’t you?” Astelia smirked even though she was bounded by the chains.28
“Vile creature, I shall banish you back to the realms of hell!”29
“My my, a little over enthusiastic here now aren’t we?” 30
Suddenly I felt the presence of many other creatures among us. It was not a nice feeling. The feeling of being watched from all directions. I noticed Astelia was smiling all these while. An evil smile. It was obvious that she had schemed prepared all of these. My savior started to cast a spell. I saw Astelia nodding, her gaze set upon a tree behind my savior. Expecting what would happen next, I teleported beside her.31
“Evening light solidify and become my armor! Divine Shield!!”32
A barrier of light formed just in time to block incoming darts that were being shot at us from all directions. It was a close shave. She looked surprised for a moment. Her spell obviously interrupted. She fixed her gaze to me with eyes expressing her gratefulness.33
“Ah, it seems like my little plan didn’t work. You turned out to be quite alert, young one” Astelia said while breaking the chains that bounded her with ease. 34
The creatures that were camouflaged among the trees jumped down and formed a circle around us. We were surrounded. The creatures were perfect women, and each almost looks identical to another. They wore armor that was made of leaves and fabrics sewn together. What made them different was, their skin color is green. 35
“Who exactly are you?” My savior asked.36
“It seems like the time has come for me to introduce myself,” as she said, she turned back into her true form which did not differ from the rest of the creature surrounding us. The only difference that I noticed was she was wearing a tiara and held a rose staff in her hand.37
“I am Astelia, the Queen of the Nymph. As you can see, our race is an all female race. Annually I would need to mate with a male species in order to continue to give birth to the new generations.”38
“Why must it be me then?” I asked.39
“That…is my own preference. Humans or elves are the most gentle and passionate when it comes to these. They are clever and are more charming as compared to the other races.”40
“Those whom you mated with, where did they go?”41
“Ah they will be given a choice either to stay with us and live with us forever or die. Mostly chose to stay but halfway they decided to escape which is a stupid choice. For we nymph are like the elves, we have keen sense and the forest is our home. We can easily maneuver around and track down any living creature in the forest. Of course the punishment for escaping is death”42
“I’m Kojiro. Thanks for saving me just now” I sent her a telepathic message.43
“It was nothing. Pleased to meet you. I’m Selina. Kojiro…”44
“Something wrong with my name? Selina…that sounds familiar though”45
“Oh nothing I guess. Lets work together to get out of this sticky situation”46
“Alright”
“What do you want to do with us then?” Selina asked47
“Well I didn’t actually want to kill you but since things came this way and you spoilt my fun I guess both of you now will have to die”48
“Well if you’re so keen about it then come here and get us” I taunted her49
“Very well prepare yourselves then! Go my warriors take them down!”50
“Shining Force! Come to me!”51
As I said, the pendant that I wore turned into the symbol that summoned a tome. The symbol engraved itself into the cover of the tome. It shone brightly in its radiance, glowing white. It hovered in front of me.52
“You ready pal?”53
“Yes, Sire.”
“Celestial Wind, lets do this!”54
“Yes, my master.”55
As she said the wings on her ears glowed brightly for a moment, indicating its readiness.56
“Stop my warriors! Those artifacts! Both of you are not ordinary humans! I’m afraid we are no match for them.”57
“Isn’t it a bit too late to say that now?” I said.58
“Very well, I myself wanted to taste the power of those artifacts as well. I propose a one on one duel with me how about it?”59
“I’ll go” Selina said.60
“Be careful then, she’s a sneaky one” 61
“Thanks for your concern” She replied.62
“If I win, I would like you to give me those artifacts, if you win, we the nymph form an alliance and aid you in the war. Would that be agreeable?”63
“Sadly, we couldn’t give the artifacts to anyone. The artifacts are not created by someone. It is born within us. If we die, so will the artifacts and it work vice versa. They are a part of our soul and we cannot be separated from one another. Only chosen human could acquire such powers. They exist in different forms according to the person’s personality and interest. Mine is in a form of a tome while hers is an accessory. It is a rare power and considered as a miracle, to be able to cast spells naturally without the use of technological items.”64
“I see, in that case if I win, I want both of you to pledge your loyalties to me, now you really made me curious about the powers about those artifacts”65
“I agree, let the duel begin!”66
“Wait, how could you agree to her conditions without considerations?”67
“Trust me”68
“…Alright”
The circle widened allowing more space between the 2 ladies who are about to duel. Astelia’s face shows an evil grin spinning her rose staff around while Selina closed her eyes and placed both her hands on her chest.69
“Let’s go Celestial Wind! Angelic Mode!”70
“Yes, my master. Angelic mode, activate!”
Pristine lights showered around her, slowly bathing her clothes in glorious bask of light, small wings began appearing on her back, wrist and shoes. Celestial Wind began to open up widening the span of its wing, glowing ever brightly. Shining brightly, she looks like an angel that had just descended from the heavens.71
“Vines of the earth become tendrils that pierce my enemy! Rose Tendrils!”72
Strange looking vines began to appear from the earth, slowly becoming sharp edged tendrils which shot out from the ground. These traveled at high speed towards Selina, leaving a trail of holes in the ground. Hastily she took off the ground, leaving a trail of star dusk as she flew. The tendrils missed her.73
“Furious winds become a spinning wall of disturbance! Tornado Wall!”74
The air around Astelia turned wild. Mini tornadoes began to appear and swirl around Astelia. Dust particles began swirling, blinding Astelia, cutting her off from the rest of the people. She was now trapped in a wall of tornados.75
“Melodies in the sky, hear my prayer, come to me as I call upon you”76
A rainbow colored sphere started to slowly materialize in front of Selina.77
“Gather and lend me your strength, let the melodies flow as one”78
“This spell won’t have any effect on me!” Astelia said while spinning her staff, breaking the concentration of the tornadoes around her. Slowly the tornadoes dissipates and when she saw Selina casting a spell above,79
“You’ll never make it! Come forth my faithful servant! Death Blossom!!”80
A strange looking vine began appearing in front of Astelia. A huge creeper with a flowery jaw. The size of it slowly expands until it rivals the size of an elephant. It opened its jaws, clamping its teeth together as if ready to devour anything it sees.81
“Take her down! Spike Shooter!!”
It opened humongous jaw, and started shooting sharp piercing spiky projectiles towards Selina. Just centimeters away before the spikes reached her, Selina vanished. The spikes seemed to be stuck in mid air for a moment before the power of gravity brought it down to the ground. Everyone began looking around for her. Astelia was furious while looking around to find traces of her.82
“You lost.” Selina said while appearing behind Astelia, a rainbow sphere she held on her right fist.83
“Taste the power of music! Melodic Blast!”84
She said while pushing the sphere into the back of Astelia. An outburst of light followed by a woman’s screams. I shielded my eyes from the blast. When it settled down, I saw Astelia lying down motionless a few meters away from her original position. The death blossom vaporized while the rest of the nymphs started to hold their weapons starting angrily at Selina, as if ready to avenge the death of their queen. Selina was back in her normal mode.85
“Don’t worry she isn’t dead yet.”86
As Selina said those, Astelia began to slowly stir up. Frankly I was surprised. The spell hit her at zero distance. I thought she should have been dead. Slowly she used her staff as a mean of aid to stand up. Several of her warriors dashed and helped her up.87
“It seems like I underestimated you… Alright a promise is a promise. From now on, we nymph will be your allies. Take this as a token of my promise. It’s a rose brooch. Within any vicinity of the forest, you just have to hold it up and one of my warriors will lead you to me. Let us withdraw for now; I need to recuperate from the injury. You both were lucky to have obtained such powers, whether for good or bad the choice is in your hands.” 88
Astelia and her warriors retreated into the darkness of the forest, leaving two of us by the campfire. Selina walked slowly towards me, her steps seems to be unsteady.89
“I…”90
She fell over and luckily I caught her on time as she fell on my arms. 91
“Selina!!”92
“I’m sorry…I’m just…tired...”93
“Rest then, you had a hard time I’ll watch over you tonight”94
“Thanks…” as she dozed off.95
I lay her down beside me and watched her sleeping peacefully. She must have been really tired I thought. I looked around the forest. The dark night sky filled with the sounds of the nightly beast. I stood up and gazed at the stars, an eventful night, the waning light of the moon, a bad omen...

Erm I wrote this for quite some time already just didn't find the time to upload it up...well I think its quite badly written please give me comments about this...I myself find it its not written with my best potential so well I really value honest and helpful comments even if its bad ist fine

I thought it was good ^.^ it has an interesting plot and at times you go "omg no way!" There is a bit of spelling and grammer but we all make them like in the line "I did feel somewhat my energy began to recover much quickly" I think maybe the word you need is, more? but hey I make these all the time ^.^ I also liked the way you ened you chapter it has some suspense and it makes the reader want to read the next chapter wondering what will happen next. All in all I really liked this peice ^.^ Nicely done ^.^

I liked this alot, it jumped around abit and I got a bit confused here and there but it made enough sense. I love the descriptions I could imagine what you where trying to say.
Love this story you got a good plot here spelling and grammar goes a little wayward from time to time but we all have are little mistakes, mine have them all the time. Nothing a little re-reading and editing can't fix!

It's 5 am here, so It's probably me, but this story jumped around a lot and I became a little confused. The plot is fantastic and the descriptions are very good. I think if you give it another serious go you might have something quite special here, a story to be really proud of.

Now this is some amazing writing, from you poems you depict pain and torture, still emotional, but with your stories you produce something entirely different..
When you told me you were on a roll pretty much i though alright, but dude this rocks, and even though I don't take a liking to this sort of genre, I found myself parically glues to the page...taken and swept into your world..
though I will admitt in some places it was confusing, he seemed confused..maybe that's just me...

I had a little trouble with it and understand your frustration. I'm sure it just didn't feel right.
I believe the transition between characters is the problem and the reader doesn't have enough background so when the action begins the reader has to interpret the action and the actors at the same time.
Your commands from the two women look the same so perhaps if a different font was used [one for each separate woman] then the reader could more quickly follow the pace of the story and know who was attacking the other.
In the beginning you say you saw your "savior" which leads us in the wrong direction. If you use something like "...What I believed to be my savior" then it leaves open that he is still confused.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions! Well actually I put it that way, because the main character is still confused...cuz he only got a blurry glance of his savior so he took the girl as his savior as she turned herself into the exact image of Selina
hehe But true I think its a little confusing but hmm I thought its quite obvious that one uses "Melody Magic" while the other uses the power of "nature"
