Snow Fight

Three girls sit in a house in the upper midwest. There's snow on the ground, lots of snow. It's the end of Christmas vacation and Dani, Julie and Dee wanted to get together one last time before they had to go back to school. But if Dani and Julie had any plans of respecting their curfews they were now dashed. The roads were covered in snow and ice. 1

As Dee peeked out the window at the still falling snow,2

"K, guys. Looks like you're stranded. What do you wanna do tonight?"3

Julie shruggs her shoulders,4

"I dunno."5

"Lets watch a movie" Dani suggests.6

Dee agreed and said,7

"Well, ok, but the problem is...which one?"8

Julie got up to go look at the DVD case and Dani peared absently out the window at the snow. All of a sudden she got an idea and her face lit up. She got Dee's attention and then looked at Julie and made a swinging motion with her hands and then pointed out the window to the snow. Dee grinned and shook her head with obvious delight. Dani and Dee both casually got up and slowly walked towards Julie.9

Julie suggested over her shoulder,10

"How about Lady In The Water by Shyamalan?"11

Dee chirps,12

"Mhm, sounds good."13

As Julie reaches up to grab the DVD Dee grabs her under her arms and Dani grabs her legs and lifts her up.14

"Oh my God you guys! What the hell are you doing?" Julie squealed.15

Dani and Dee giggle and carry her to the door.16

Once Julie caught sight of the snow outside,17

"Oh my God! NO! NO! Please you guys" as she tried to wriggle free, but Dani and Dee held tight.18

Dee slid the door open with her elbow and then stepped out into the snow, Dani following after her. Julie started to whimper,19

"Please you guys. It's gonna be so cold. What if I get sick?"20

"K, on the count of three."21

In unison, "One, two, THREE!!!". Julie screamed while Dani And Dee flung Julie out into the middle of the whiteness. She landed with a soft thud and then squealed,22

"FUCK!, You guys, it's freezing. I hate you!". Dani and Dee laughed. Julie evil-eyed them and then ran towards them. Dee stopped laughing,23

"Oh shit", and ran towards the door. Just as Dee got inside Julie caught hold of Dani's ankle and tripped her face first into the snow. Dee closed the door on them and stuck out her tongue and laughed. Dani stumbled to the side and ran further away from the house. Julie caugh up and tackled her. Dani screamed as Julie rubbed snow in her face. Julie laughed. Dani managed to get up again and then scooped up a whole bunch of snow and threw it at Julie. Then she ran around the the other side of the house hoping to get in through the front door. But Julie was just behind her and clearly the fight was not over. Julie caught Dani in her arms and forced her to the ground laughing. And then it started, while Julie sat ontop of Dani an electricity surged through their cores. Julie layed herself down. This was something Dee wouldn't ever know about. Dee was happy and naive and would be hurt and confused to know that Julie and Dani had a relationship more then friendship. Even thought it only started 2 months ago.24

Julie looked at Dani and pulled a chunk of snow out of her hair. They giggled. Julie whispered,25

"I totally hate you for that", but still couldn't supress a grin.26

Danni smiled,27

"Oh, come one, admitt you're having fun."28

Julie grinned and then the smile faded away. Dani was watching the snow fall around them.29

"Dani?"30

Dani focused on her eyes31

"Yeah?"32

"Can I kiss you?"33

"If you want to", Dani smiled.34

Julie looked away,35

"Well I mean, If you don't want to that's fine. I mean, I would understand. I know it's only been two months, and I'm only going slightly crazy and I'm sure you..."36

Julie was babbling and Dani could tell she was nervous so she cut her off,37

"Julie, it's ok. Just do it."38

Julie looked at her and paused, then thought better of it. Her stomach fluttered and she lowered her lips to Dani's. As soon as Julie's lips touched Dani's an electric shock ran through her and she responded. It felt weird. She was cold and Julie was cold but her mouth was hot and warm. She felt like she was falling. She didn't know anything else besides Julie connected to her. It was too much. The intensity shocked her and she had to pull away, yet still she savored their first kiss.39

Dani grinned,40

"Perhaps we better go inside before we freeze or Dee gets worried and comes out looking for us."41

Julie nods,42

"Ok" and then pushed herself to her knees to let Dani up. Dani stood up and helped Julie to her feet. Julie felt like a dead weight. She just wanted to sink into Dani and cuddle into her warmth. Dani put her arm around her and urged her to walk.43

"Wait...Dani?" Julie stopped.44

Dani stopped too,45

"What?"46

Julie blushed,47

"Was it ok?"48

Dani grinned at her and then kissed the side of her cheak,49

It was amazing babe, like a dream."50

Julie smiled knowing Dani wouldn't lie to her. When they got inside Dee was laying on the couch.51

She groggily looked up,52

"Have fun?"53

Dani looked at Julie,54

"Uh huh."55

It'd be their little secret. Dee was conked out on the couch in minutes after the movie started and Julie and Dani fell asleep in a heap of blankets on the floor. Thankful that Dee wasn't an early riser.
