Green Eyes

I stare at them all through my green eyes1

Sadness is something eyes cant hide2

Each has one that is their own3

And I stare jealous and alone4

Their hearts can be seen everywhere5

Their romance soars and chokes the air6

Together they look at me without surprise7

As I stare at them through my green eyes

you know, its wierd because I have brown eyes. If nobody gets it, jealousy- the green eyed monster

    It was a good idea to use the "green eyes" as a metaphor for jealousy. The poem was very well written.

    This was a wonderful write about what many people go through...jealousy! I loved the way you portrayed it, and especially how you never use the J word in the poem, but rather wait until your notes. Wonderful write!

    Green eyes. That's what I guessed! Yay!

    Nicely written poem! I like how the theme of this page is green, and the picture shows highlights of green.

    Nice work, though jealousy is never a good thing ^_^
