I am not wind-breath
I am your sunburned Savior
I will not leave you1
I heard that verse once
in a chapel pew, alone.
Beside your mountain.2
The pastor said it.
He might have had it easy -
I can't share his robe.3
When I could not see
footprints in the sand with mine,
I knelt, and I prayed.4
You could say I was
more faithful then than now. Me?
I think I'm just... lost.5

Very nicely done, I especially loved the story you created while you progressed, it was wonderfully equipped with great ambiguity and just the right amount of feeling for a Haiku.
