Cliché Café’s Crème [Chapter Five]

"I thought you like 'You Got No Right', not 'Headspace'." Ellie said. She was talking about those song crazes. How I liked - no loved- this one song and I would sing it everywhere.
"Yes, but I just have Headspace in my head right now. Ironic."
"You know, i know an ironic joke."
"What?"
"A blonde walks up to a boy and says, 'Do you want to hear an awesome joke?' And before the boy can answer, the blonde says, "Opps! I forgot it! Never mind!'"1

I was on Shelfari later. I hadn't been on for so long. About 3 months. I just went on because I got an e-mail from them. Plus I had to add X/1999.
"So, let’s see.." I said as I typed in 'X/1999'.
I came up with only volumes 9, 11, and 10. Weird. They better have Angelic Layer. I typed it in. A go.
"Lucky machine, if they didn't have it, I'd break you."2


"It's here!" I yelled, almost throwing the book in the air. Which would make it hit the fan and rip it.
"Got what see?" Ellie asked.
"Chobits Postcard Book!" I said, shoving it in her face.
"Don't do that." she told me, hitting me in the head with the near Cardcaptor Sakura volume.
"Gimmie that." I grabbed it and ran upstairs with both books.
Ah, I love Amazon. I threw the postcard book next to my first 10 volumes of Tsubasa RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE in Japanese. Also in the pile were the Wish Memorial Illustration Collection and the Japanese version of the Cardcaptor Sakura Clow Card Fortune Book. Well, I just think Japanese looks cool. Who doesn't? Other then my sister. She hates it. But she likes German. I dunno.3

You see, i don't really like mellow rock. There are definitely exceptions. (i.e. 'Rise Above This' by Seether, 'You Got No Right' by Velvet Revolver). But for the majority of things, 'Illegal i Song' is on. I'm just gonna say, mellow makes me want to puke. Not all mellow, but some. Definitely some.4

School again. I hate school. It's like Soulja Boy. I HATE it.
I saw that girl, Keisa.
"That's Sakura in Cardcaptor Sakura, right?' she asked this time.
"Right. Sit down." I told her.
"Why?"
"Because. Sit."
She sat down and gave me a questioning look.
"Okay, so I thought that stupid Duranga did something, but maybe not. Maybe I'm a stupid little girl with my heads in the clouds thinking the school hates me. But, but but but..."
"You aren't sure."
"Exactly. So.."
"So?"
"Be prepared for a CLAMP quiz on Friday. You can study, but NO Wikipedia. They tell you everything."
"Right. Friday. That gives me three days."
"Yes, because it is thy stupid Tuesday."
