I'm Not Okay -Chapter Four

Chapter Four1

“Oh crap…Johnson is going to be so mad.” Karmen said as the four of them were running towards their music theory class. 2

“Yeah, so no time for talking just keep running.” Chad said.3

By the time the four of them arrived at the class they realized that there was no need to rush. All of the students in the class were standing around outside.4

“What’s going on? Why aren’t you guys already in class?” Sydney asked a girl standing against the wall.5

“Johnson isn’t here yet. The girl who was here first just went up to admins to find out where he is.” replied the guy standing next to the girl.6

“Thanks.” Sydney said.7

Sydney went back to the others and relayed what the guy had told her.8

“Wow. Johnson has never been late for a class. I hope everything is all right with him.” Trevor said, sliding down to sit on the floor.9

“Yeah I’m sure everything is fine. I mean what could possibly happen to him. He’s the kind of person who would stay alive as long as humanly possible to haunt each and every one of his students.’ Chad said sitting down next to Trevor.10

The four of them all laughed.11

“That is true, but you never know anything is possible. Even good ol’ Professor Johnson can’t out run old age and health problems.” Karmen said looking slightly upset.12

By this time there was a wave whispers going through the crowd of students outside the classroom.13

“I wonder what they are all talking about.” Sydney said.14

“I don’t know. I’ll go find out, maybe it has to do something with Johnson.” Karmen said walking off towards the crowd.15

“Hey come back with good news, Karm.” Sydney replied.16

“Will do kiddo.”17

After Karmen went to go find out about the whispers, Sydney started to interrogate Chad about the kiss he and Karmen shared this morning.18

“So how long have you wanted to kiss her, Chad?”19

“Who? Karmen?”20

“Well duh, who else have you kissed in the past hour?”21

“Ha ha, very funny. I don’t know a few years I guess.”22

“A few years?” Trevor repeated, jumping in on the questioning.23

“Yep.”24

“Well then why didn’t you do it sooner?” Sydney asked.25

“I didn’t want to mess anything up.”26

“Then why do it this morning? Things could have backfired.” Trevor said.27

“I don’t know, it felt right.” Chad said standing up. “Ok have you two had enough fun playing nosy private-I friends?”28

“Yeah, I suppose so.” Sydney said smiling.29
