Waiting for her to break2

That’s too hard for her to take4

Safely in our beds8
She’s on the edge again9
Crying through her wrist10
But hey, as long as we don’t see it11
We know it can’t exist12

Pretend the world isn’t about to break16
I’m sick of those who push17
They shove her on the edge18
Who does she have to grab on to?19

Wow this is so dark and deep. I absolutely loved it. There is so much raw emotion in it. It is written in such a breathtaking way. A truly amazing poem. Great work on it

Well I hope this girl isnt you. Its never worth commiting suicide. Do you kno how selfish that is? True you may be in pain...By you doin so tho...You are causing so many others a great deal of friends. You have family and friends who care about you. Think about them. How will your death effect them? Exactly...Who knows...Your death may cause others to commit suicide....if only you were given the choice someone gave one of my friends. She told this guy that if he commited suicide then she would. I wish somone would give u that choice. Then you couldnt even think of commiting such a horrible deed to the world. If you are really not feeling this then good write. It is really sad and is what allot of teens go through. It seems like the world may end somtimes...Just remember eho and what you have in front of you to make you happy. Great write and good luck in the contest.

I can tell you that the girl in the poem is not me. Although the world may seem a terrible, hopeless place at times- offing yourself is not the way. Besides, I'm much too stubborn to let anyone or anything get in my way.
