Cliché Café’s Crème [Chapter 2]

I wasn't in the locker that long. Only, like, 20 minutes. Which I'm surprised I didn't die. All we have are stupid little air vents. Not very big at all.1

I must have spooked that kid Rachel. I banged on the locker from inside and I saw her jump. She has the locker next to me. "It's 4-22-44!" I yelled at her, referring to the locker combination. Opening it quick, I almost smashed my head on the floor.
"What the hell where you doing in there?" Rachel screamed/asked/whispered to me.
"Making sure to not get A.C." I had to quickly explain my disobeying to the teacher in one of the weirdest ways.
"That was stupid. Well, you make a good point. Except the part about reading. It doesn't make the world go round."2

"Stand to attention!"
"And say what?" Chase asked.
"Testing, testing, Moron Sissy, Gay magician, Whatever Boy, Dead Girl." I said, being weird about xxxHolic and illustrations in it.
"Now," I continued, "I will say three words of my choice and you must spell and define them.
Schizophrenia!"
"Skitzophreenia, a type of disease."
"Tintinnabulation!"
"Tintinabulation, um, stupid.
"Vapid!"
"Vaped, a pink ink."3

Now, I must say, I hate humans that are like that. Just randomly answering questions. Guesses.4

"You got all wrong, stupid.
Schizophrenia, S-C-H-I-Z-O-P-H-R-E-N-I-A, a mental disorder.
Tintinnabulation, T-I-N-T-I-N-N-A-B-U-L-A-T-I-O-N, the ringing of bells or a similar sound.
Vapid, V-A-P-I-D, dull, boring."5

Then he said something really juvenile, just like him.
"You're stupid. Why did I waste three minutes of my life on you?" and he walked away.
"Remember, only noobs call others noobs!"6

"So, how was your day today?" my mom asked.
It was after my sister Ellie's talk of her day, which she NEEDS to talk about.
I decided to say nothing about my locker adventure.
"I asked someone what vapid means and they didn't even get it right. I find that completely stupid. I mean, vapid. Dull, Easy."
"Honey, no one else at your school reads the dictionary."
"So? That's not exactly MY problem."
