Rose petals Ch. 6

That night and into the early morning Hiei and Kurama made hot passionate love until the two were asleep in each others arms. Kurama's rose red hair sprawled out among the pillow mixing with Hiei's own jet black hair that stayed in its normal spike. The ringing of the doorbell would soon be heard as Kurama rolled over onto her back a slight moan escaping her lips as she opened her eyes and brought a hand over them to block out the sun. 1

"Mmm,its bright." She said slowly sitting up. 2

The doorbell rang again as Kurama stretched some and yawned as she slid out of bed and downed her white bathrobe as she pulled her hair out and let it fall against the robe. Leaving the room she walked to the front door mumbling about who was visiting them at this time during the day not knowing it was almost noon as she opened the door seeing Hiei's younger sibling as she smiled some. 3

"Hello Yukina did you come down here by yourself?" Kurama asked a bit concerned since Yukina had yet to learn the dangers of wandering around by herself in the Nigenkai.4

Not that she was to worried, she knew how to defend herself if need be, but she was still worried about her being by herself. Especially having to go through the city, as crowded as theirs. 5

"No, Keiko and Kazuma walked down here with me, they said they had some things to do with the others. I hope I'm not being a burden by showing up unexpectedly" She said and bowed. 6

Kurama chuckled some. That was Yukina alright, still polite as ever ,and one of the most gentlest ice apparitions he had ever met. She smiled again and stood to the side opening the door letting her come in as Kurama walked into the kitchen and got a pot down to make tea. 7

"Yukina would you like tea?" She asked looking out in the living room. 8

"Yes please." Yukina said looking around the living room. 9

"You can sit down, make yourself at home, your a guest here." Kurama said as Yukina sat down on the couch. 10

"Is Hiei here?" She asked.11

"He's still sleep I'll go wake him." Kurama said setting out a few pastries and some cookies as she waited for the water to boil.12

While Kurama waited she walked upstairs to her room seeing Hiei still fast asleep as she went over to him and climbed over top of him smiling as she leaned down and kissed him gently as Hiei opened an eye. 13

"I'm tired Kurama, I'll play with you later." He said rolling over. 14

"Yukina's here."
"So?"
Why don't you go see her?" Kurama asked rolling Hiei back over. 15

Hiei gave Kurama a glare at being rolled back over as he batted her hand away. Dumb fox was pushy enough when he was a male, least when he was male he knew when to back off, now that he was a female, Kurama took every new chance she got to push Hiei's buttons, probably her way of having fun. Hiei rolled back over not answering Kurama's question as Kurama rolled him back over not liking being ignored. 16

"Hiei." She said again pinning his arms to the bed so he wouldn't roll over again. She knew she was taking quite a risk holding a half koormine, half fire demon down against his will, but she figured she was safe on account of A. She was one of Hiei's closet friends, B. His lover and mother of his children. and C. the only one Hiei ever really trusted almost completely.17

"Get off." Hiei said glaring at her.18

"Go see Yukina." Kurama said again.19

"No." Hiei said trying to get free.20

"Why not?" Kurama asked curious. 21

"Because...now let me go dumb fox." Hiei protested a bit louder this time as Kurama kept a tight grip on him. Damn she was strong, who would have thought something that looked so frail would be so strong, then again, she could have just been using her weight to her advantage, whatever it was it kept him pinned.22

"Hiei that's your only family, go see her right now or I'll tell her the secret you've been keeping from her." She said.23

Hiei smirked some. "And I'll tell that mother of yours that her son is now a female and pregnant with four demon children, and that her son is really a bandit kitsune." He said.24

"That's blackmail Hiei." Kurama said frowning.25

"Look who's talking preggo." Hiei said.26

Kurama frowned some and saw a glint out of the corner of her eye. Hiei's teardrop pendant...the one his mother had cried just for him. Grabbing a hold of it and yanking it from Hiei's neck she smiled holding it up. 27

"Go see her or you won't get this back." She said holding it up as she gasped as she suddenly felt herself pushed off as she laid on the bed nearly falling on the floor. 28

"Dammit Kurama your bitchy today." He said frowning seeing his pendant held tightly in her hand as he slid out of bed putting his pants on as he stood and walked to the door. 29

"And if you ever do that again Kurama, I don't care if you are pregnant with my children, I'll make sure you wind up in the hospital." He said leaving going downstairs, Kurama coming down afterwords to finish the tea. Once the tea was done Kurama took it out to the living room and made the three of  them a cup as they sat and talked for a while.30

Yukina waved goodbye as she left a few hours later when Kuwabara and Keiko came to get her as Kurama waved and shut the door turning around seeing a less than happy Hiei with his hand out. 31

"Where is it?" He asked. 32

"Here, just like I promised." She said holding it out as Hiei snatched i and tied it back around his neck as he turned and walked off.33

"Thank you Hiei." Kurama said smiling. 34

"Hn." Hiei replied disappearing to go train.
