"It's... It's like a memory from a dream.' I could hear the music echo softly in my head. Somehow I knew the words. I didn't know where they came from, but I knew them. I sang and the memories from another life came to me. I ran my fingers softly over the jars and the dust was swept into the air. Pooka whined and ran after me. I could feel the music in my soul, and I started dancing. I waltzed out of the small room I was in and I entered a ballroom. It hadn't been touched for years, no light and it smelt musty. I walked down the red carpeted stairs. I looked at the grandeur of the place, in awe. The paintings were magnificent. I looked out over the floor and I knew it was wanting for someone to dance on it again. All of a sudden, it was like something from the past had come back, they had all returned to dance with me. They were bowing and I bowed back. Little Pooka finally joined me, but he sat down on the top step and kept to himself. I ran down the stairs and joined those on the floor. I was so happy, but I didn't know why. They were all so beautiful. Everyone like this, dancing so gracefully. A few of those young women came up to me, and they danced around with me for a few seconds. I felt like royalty. I could just imagine the dress I was dancing around in. A dress so beautiful that it outshone the rest. Every man in the room wanted to dance with me. Then the Tzar, I'm sure he was, came out and danced with me. It wasn't fast like the others. It was slow and meaningful. Like he knew me already. He kissed me on the forehead. Then he was gone. A young man and an older man entered the room. 1
'Hey, hey you! What are you doing here?' yelled the younger man. He startled me so I ran out. I left the fantasy in there, as well.
