Alex saw Rayvin and Jade in the hallway as she walked to her 4th hour. She waved, but didn’t feel like talking. Still a bit angered from Clara, she didn’t want to take it out on her friends on accident. As she reached room 145, she saw quite a few students from her other classes walking into the door. 1
“Oh boy, looks like this class is going to be boring..” She muttered as she took an empty seat. 2
And sure enough, it was. Alex had loved Literature back in the days when the students got to choose what they read, but not anymore. She pulled out her notebook when she heard a knock on the door. Being curious, she looked towards it, only to see a student from her 3rd hour. 3
“Mrs. Williams, I have a pass for you.” The student said, as the teacher took her tardy slip and sat behind Alex, being the only empty seat left. 4
The class went by quickly, and the girl behind Alex had began talking to her. At first Alex just thought it dumb and did not want to pay attention, but this girl seemed like she was interesting, so Alex listened. 5
“Anyways, before you talk anymore, not to be rude or anything, but what’s your name?” Alex asked the girl. She figured if she would talk to her she should at least know her name. 6
“Oh, wow… sorry… My name’s Samantha. Guess I forgot to say that…” Samantha whispered as Mrs. Williams looked at her. 7
“Well, my name’s Alexia, but just call me Alex, most people do anyways.” Alex told Samantha, as the bell rang. They waved to each other and went their separate ways to their 5th period classes. Alex had remembered this was the only class she had on the third floor, so she ran up the stairs and made it to class right in time for the bell. As she sat down, she immediately noticed a few students that she despised, one being Lindsay, and the other being Ashley. Everyone else she either knew from another class or school, or didn’t know well enough yet. That class seemed to go by too fast. Soon enough the bell rang and she left. She couldn’t wait to get to 6th hour and then go home. 8
