I think it’s going to rain today
I can almost smell it in the air. Suddenly
homeless men scamper under the boardwalk,
in the park across the street.
Trying for shelter, using what little they have.
One man Otto Titsling stays out on the field
he was drunkenly trying to dance the rain away.6

The broken heart in my chest takes me back
to recent memories. My lover is gone, giving me the friendship theme only unsympathetic goodbye.7
