Konoha Beauty Queen Murders.

Parading through the school halls, Osa led Amaya, Sakura, Hinata and Ino through the massing crowds of students. It was their turn to host this year’s school dance, and they planned to make it go out with a bang. It was Osa’s idea that they use fire works, they were having the gymnasium roof open, and so whilst people were lost in the music, dancing; they would set off a random amount of stealth ninja fire works. 1

Slamming open the gym doors Osa paraded in, she was full of energy today and the hearts ambition to make this go right, or so by the Angel and Goddess she would surely kill anyone who got in the way. Making this known; Osa literally threw everyone who was not meant to be there, out of the Gym without a moment’s hesitation. She didn’t take notice as to who it was though; she dismissed that less caring part and turned to her sullen friends. 2

Like always this time around, Ino and Sakura had their heads together, battling over who was to take Sasuke and have first dance tonight. Ino kept using the wide forehead line on Sakura, saying that Sasuke would never dance with someone who has such a wide load on their face. Sakura wasn’t as phased by this anymore, but still got angered enough that she used her inhuman strength to slam Ino’s face into the shiny floor boards of the Gym. 3

Making Osa furious.4

‘What did I say?!’ Osa screamed, shaking the whole room. ‘Anyone who even tried to sabotage this night would be get a kunai through their head!!’ The two girl stopped, looking away from each other stubbornly, noses in the air. Satisfied with this, Osa nodded and turned her back on them. 5

Taking in the view of the large gymnasium, she smiled slightly, something not often seen when she was around so many people, but she let it happen just this once. It didn’t hurt to let through a little smile every now and then, plus; somehow she had come in the running with the other girls behind her, to be the Konoha High Queen for a week. Not something that thrilled her, but the idea of being in charge like that, meant she could have more practice time then class time, nothing better then a good sparring match, she thought.6

Clapping her hands together, she turned back to them. ‘Right!’ They all jumped to attention, it was time to pull some ninja moves and make this hall look good. ‘Let’s get to it!’ Directing everyone to jobs, Sakura was given the banners, Ino the seating and table organisation, Hinata the ballot for king and queen voting and Amaya the DJ, she herself going with food. 7

Going without parents for a while now, except for her ninja father Kakashi Hatake and Jonin brother Hiroshi, Osa had become an ace cook, and knew what to choose, things outside of missions these days, were different and she was still becoming accustomed to said high school life. 8

As Osa was standing there, bopping her head a little to one of Amaya’s song choices, [Hide the Bitter by Placebo vs. Kosheen] a scream ripped through them all, deafening the music. Turning Sakura, who had been caught off guard on the ladder, unable to maintain the balance she should have, crashed to the floor as the ladder snapped in half. The banner ripped as she fell and covered her, Ino who had been closest at the time, was there first pulling away the banner in shock. 9

Staring up at the ceiling with wide shocked eyes, Sakura was dead. Osa and Amaya ran over, followed by Hinata and grimly inspected the ladder, sabotage; someone had clearly hacked through the wood with something blunt until it was weak enough to snap. This, as had happened, worked and had dropped Sakura to her death.10

A little shaken by all this, the group watched in misery as the coroners took away their friends body in a little white bag. Turning away they all shed a few tears, and then decided that they would dedicate the dance to Sakura Haruno. 11

Osa gave herself the job of cleaning up the blood, Sakura had died from a cracked skull on impact and so here was the blood. When that was done she studied the ladder again, determined to find who would do this. Looking for Ino, she demanded that her pockets be turned out, and her bag handed over.12

‘What are you doing Osa?’ Ino demanded as her all contents were sifted through, Osa jumped up then, holding a nail file in her fingers carefully not to print it. It was one of the metal kinds, which did the job and grated your teeth at the same time. Just the kind of one that could slowly grind through wood. 13

‘You sawed through the ladder with this!’ Everyone stared at Osa shouting, looking from her to Ino in confusion as it dawned where she was taking this, coming in closer they watched on as Ino paled at the sick thought. 14

‘I did not!’ Ino yelled furious at the accusation. ‘Why would I kill my best friend?!’15

‘Why wouldn’t you, I mean you both wanted Sasuke yes? Why not just take out the competition?’ It was a sick idea, and Osa knew it, but she needed to get to the bottom of this, Ino couldn’t get away with killing her best friend.16

‘I wouldn’t do that.’ Tears welled in Ino eye’s now as she ran off, the doors swinging behind her as she left, setting a dramatic scene as Osa turned on the others, furious. 17

‘What are you all looking at? Get back to work, this needs to be done by tonight you know.’ She snapped walking out to find Ino and apologise, maybe she had been a little too harsh in the spur of the moment. Heels clipping on the floor, the empty hallways were ominous as she walked them.18

Entering the nearest girl’s toilets, Osa listened out for the sound of a crying girl. Knocking on a closed cubicle it pushed open, with the back of her head bashed in Osa was face down in a puddle of her own blood, a Kunai protruding from the centre of her back, a little note attached.19

Leaning down to read it, Osa pulled it free and backed out the of the cubicle. What was going on?! She wondered as she unfurled the curled note. On it read, “Bang bang you’re all dead, down down goes the Konoha Queen.” 20

Shaken Osa ran from the toilets, all the way to the office where she reported Ino’s body before going back to the group. Entering the hall, her eyes a little red from some loose tears, Osa wondered what was going on, they were all dying and she couldn’t keep it in control, also, she didn’t want to die. Not yet when she had so much going for her, when she could be a normal high school girl who practices ninja work on the side with a tragic past and D grade missions to go on, she just wasn’t ready to die. 21

Stopping in the middle of the hall, Osa looked around a little lost for the other girls, they weren’t there. Calling their names only a echo came back to her, and she shivered. The roof was open now, she looked up the calm blue sky, always tranquil and filled with birds looked the same, only there seemed to be something dark. 22

Going to the side ledge, Osa pressed the roof button and closed it, that’s when two bodies thumped down to the floor, hitting it hard with blank milky white looks in their eyes, someone human and living dropped beside them then, smirking at the dead bodies. 23

Osa gasped, filled with such a sudden rage over the deaths of Amaya, Hinata, Ino and Sakura, and most of all; the death of her own mother. Orichimaru stood there, dead arms falling at his side, Kabuto Yakushi dropping down gracefully beside him. Both were sneering, Orichimaru held three kunai in his mouth, sneering hatefully at Osa. Dropping them from his mouth, he spoke. 24

‘Looks like you get to the queen.’ With a cackle he charged, the knife he kept inside his mouth piercing painfully and bloody, through Osa’s chest in an instant before she could even blink an eye, blood dribbling down the corners of her mouth as she gasped in pain.25

This couldn’t be the end, not when she hadn’t taken down Orichimaru and revenged her mothers death, pulling herself off the blade, Osa grabbed it, slicing painfully into her own hands as she wrenched it from his mouth, running him through with it, in her last ounce of energy. 26

‘You killed my friends, you killed my mum, now I kill you while you kill me.’ They each died there, bleeding out on the half completed dance floor of the gymnasium.
