I Look Outside

I look outside,
The snow had started to drift
It dances it's ballet downwards
Twirling and twisting in the wind
It nestles on the ground
Tired from the dance
There it will lay
Till the sun comes.1

I look outside,
A cat runs through the yard
It dashes into the shed
Snow clinging to it's fur
It shakes of the snow
And curles up in a ball
There it will sleep
Till it is time to eat.2

I look outside,
A red bird flys by
It's wings brushes the window
It heads towards it's nest
The snow covers the bird
As it sits on it nest
There it will stay
Till it is no longer tired.3

I look outside,
A kid makes a snowman
With a hat, mouth, and eyes
The snowman looks grand and proud
As it watches the yard
Keep it safe for children
There it will stand
Till it warms up.4

I look outside,
And see it is winter
It is peaceful, quiet, and still
There it will sit with out movement
Covered in a blanket of tired snow
With a cat and bird sleeping and snowman
That is how it will stay
Till spring decides to come. 5

Very cute poem I love how it goes from seeing one thing outside then to seeing another all the way to the end.
