Order of the Dragons Chapter 3

It was dark, and Dai Korosomo could hear distant blasts and screaming around him. Everything was blurry and he couldn;'t move, he was pinned down by something. "Mommy...? Daddy...?" He could barely move and screams got louder as well as blasts. The temperature of the air began to increase and the air thinned. He found it hard to breathe and soon a great wieght, the things that was pinning him down was lifted. He saw a huge figure and knew it couldn't be human. Dai looked to his right and noticed an old armband that belonged to his father, he looked around and saw the rest of him, he looked into his face and saw him looking back, his eyes glazed over. Dai found himself in a crimson pool of his parent's blood and screamed as tears fell down his cheeks. At htta moment, he woke up and gasped, panting heavily. He hadn't had that dream in a while, so why did he have it all of a sudden? That man that he met the night before said that this was his house, everything in it was his, so was it his parents? Dai was confusing himself. He got out of the comfortable bed and walked across the large room to the wooden doors. He opened the curtains and then the doors, he walked out and sat by the cold metal bars, right in the sunlight. Almost an hour passed and Dai kept scribbling in his book; writing was something for him to release stress, which was odd for him. The temperature increased as the day neared noon, the sun was higher in the sky and dai stood up and went back into the house. Dai paused for a minute and sat on the bed.1

Dai shivered as his room was colder than it was outside, so, he decided to get dressed. Dai slid off his shirt and took out a shirt and put it on, along with a pair of jeans that were a little baggy. Moving down a few flights of stairs and into the bright kitchen, he was greated by a firendly,"Sleep well?" Dai paused and turned his head, he didn't even know why this man was in his house if it wasn't his,"Yes..." he said as me moved ov3r to rumage through cabinets. He finally found some food,"Did you?" he asked, swallowing down cereal quickly. He got his answer, but wasn't even listening,"Well, I'm going to go..." he said, still suspicious.2

The roads around his home were empty, just because he was so far out. He finally arrived at a town and it wasn't that crowded, either,"Strange" he thought. He moved around and went into a shop. He bought a detailed sword and was quite content when he got the sword. His friend had recomended the shop, although it looked old and the outside was run down, the old blacksmith was a fine craftsman. Dai unsheathed the sword and walked out, eyeing all of its features when he was confronted by a gang. "Idiots" he said under his breath as he unsheathed the sword. He slid into a stance and readied himself. They told him to give him all of his valuables, but he didn't listen; Dai attacked, not hitting them, but their weapons,"You'll never survive in the real word with such holes in your defenses!" he said tauntingly as he pulled the chain out again. The jewl glowed and dai changed almost instantly, with no pain, or even any discomfort. Dai was surprised, but he took to the skies and landed in the same field he was in before. Dai landed and turned his head. He switched back to his human form and noticd and arrow stick into the grounds next to him with a note attached. It was from the order and it read,"You have wounded yourself, that is why you have nothing left of your power. Meet us in the main chamber tomorrow evening, and we will discuss your wrong doings." He heard rustling in the treees and ignored it,"After all these years?" he questioned to himself. He slowly began to walk down the dirt road once again to his house.

Author notes

Okay, I've been sufferning from writer's block lately and that's why this story series has been so delayed, and I do apoligize. If anyone could give me anything that you would like to see in the story, such as characters, or ideas, please let me know! Other than that, I'm trying to improve, but since I havn't written anything in such a logn while, I fear that I am getting progressivly worse , so erm, hope you liked the story anyway!

I'd appriciate if you would tell me how to improve, or give me ideas, if I like them, then they'll be in the story!
