Rose petals ch. 4

A/N: Thank you very much and very kindly to all the people that have reviewed this so far. Please continue putting in your comments, and please forgive me for any grammar mistakes, that seems to be the only thing I have problems with but I'm getting better with it...I think. 1

Later on in the day Yuuske and the the others once again found themselves outside bundled up for the winter weather as they were going shopping for Kurama. This time, however Keiko and Shizuru followed along after having heard about Kurama's situation. The six of them entered a clothing store and the girls immediately took Kurama to the Maternity section, to get some clothes shopping done. Yuuske and Kuwabara on the other hand, wandered off to look around and Hiei being the protector he was, stood off to the side watching Kurama and the girls.2

Kurama was doing much the same thing but putting her opinion in on the clothes the girls picked out that they thought would look cute on her. So far, she had turned down mostly everything save for a pair of nice dress pants and and a few shirts. Keiko and Shizuru sighed after a while. They were picky about what they wore as well, but they knew what they wanted in clothes, half the time, Kurama was just way beyond picky. Shizuru thought for a moment and looked at Kurama. 3

"Ok its obvious we're not getting anywhere with you and clothes, so how about you tell us what kind of clothes you like and we'll go from there." she said. 4

"Yeah that'll work." Keiko said in agreement. 5

"What I wore in the dark tournament." She said simply. 6

Keiko and Shizuru thought for a moment as the two snapped their fingers, each of them taking Kurama's hands and bringing her to a small oriental section as Keiko picked out a blue one with gold trimming and cranes on the front. She held it up to Kurama giving her the 'like this' look. For the first time in what seemed like two hours Kurama nodded happily as the girls smiled glad they were getting somewhere. The three soon made their way over to the undergarment section,as the girls showed Kurama a few bra's making Kurama blush a few shades of red. 7

"Oh don't be shy, you have to wear one or else your breast will sag...and I don't know about you, but having tits full of milk and sagging seems like it would hurt." Shizuru said. 8

That little comment made Kurama blush an even deeper red as she placed her hands on her cheeks to calm herself. How Shizuru managed to take the simplest of things and put them so bluntly that it would make even the normally calm Kurama blush was beyond her. And her breast were already starting to feel tender, though she wasn't sure if it was from her breast filling with milk or not, she knew they were tender and hurting...so she supposed getting a bra wouldn't hurt to much....even if it was just one or two.9

"Alright." Kurama said after she had calmed herself enough to feel the heat in her face go away.10

"Good, what size are you?" Shizuru asked.
"Umm a 34 D." She said shyly. 11

Shizuru smiled some getting her a few bra's seeing Hiei out of the corner of her eye. 12

Kurama smiled and went over to Hiei kissing the bandage on his forehead and smiled as Hiei felt Kurama's stomach rubbing it a bit. After their little shopping trip the group walked down the street with Yuuske and Kuwabara holding the bags and boxes as usual. Kurama almost felt bad making them carry all those things, but after some assurance from the other two girls Kurama decided to just let the two men carry it, though she did look back every now and again to make sure they were ok. After a few more stores and walking around more the group sat down near the fountain as everyone enjoyed a burger, that was to say everyone minus Kurama since the smell seemed to make her sick to her stomach.13

"So what's it like?" Yuuske asked.
"What's what like?" Kurama asked.14


"You know....being a girl, and having a gut full of babies." Yuuske said getting slapped upside the head by Keiko as a loud ouch followed afterwords.15

"I don't know...ask me in a few months when I'm further along."16

"How many are in there anyway? I only counted one but short-stuff here says there's more." Kuwabara said.17

Kurama thought for a bit and looked down at her stomach pressing her hand on the center as she closed her eyes and concentrated. She really did want to say she was having four kits, but she didn't want to get her hopes up if something happened to the other three energies she had sensed growing inside her. The three other kits, energy signatures did seem to be stronger, but it still didn't answer her question if she should tell the others the truth or not.18

"There's four." She said smiling happily, glad that she would have four healthy little kits in a few months, at least she hopped they would be healthy.19

"Damn your gonna be huge in a few months then." Yuuske joked.20

"Nnn..." Kurama said sadly as she frowned looking away. 21

That's right she was going to be huge in a few months, she wasn't that far along now but she could feel a tiny swell that couldn't be seen through her clothes yet, if she could feel the swell now...she could only imagine what she's look like when she was six months pregnant. Nine months for that matter if she even made it that far, she didn't even want to think about. Leave it to Yuuske to say something that made her think about things long before she was supposed to.22

"Yuuske watch what you say." Hiei said not wanting Kurama to be upset, an upset human was one thing. But dealing with an upset pregnant human merged with a fox demon was something completely different. 23

"No its ok Hiei...I'll be across the street." She said standing going across the street as a few tears fell from her eyes. 24

Walking down the street a ways, leaning against the wall of a small shop, she brought her hand to her mouth to try and stop the sob that wanted to erupt from her throat. Even though she said it was alright about what Yuuske had said, it hurt to hear it from him. Though he hadn't minded them when he was male, he was female now, and literally heavy with kits it hurt to have someone talk about how big he was going to get within the on coming months. Yoko had said something in her mind, she of course being in the mood she was in she had only caught part of it or in the least bits and pieces of it, which in turn caused her to become more upset as she slid down the wall and sat there.25

Come now it can't be that bad. Yoko said.
"Fuck off damned demon fox...I don't want to hear it." She said.26

But what was it that she didn't want to hear? Then again, knowing her fox half it was probably something having to do with sex. She took a shaky breath in trying to calm herself to stop herself from crying, so far nothing was working, and that choked sob was starting to well up in her chest, wanting to erupt from her throat in a long song of pain and sorrow as she would let her feelings out all from that one little noise. But she held it back...tried to hold it back as best she could. But her emotions were slowly starting to overcome her again. 27

Damn these emotions and damn her mood swings, damn Yuuske for making her want to cry her heart out like this, she ran out of things to curse after Yuuske's name as she shook her head standing and going into a dark alley as the sob escaped her lips in a long drawn out cry as she brought her hands to her face and just cried. She hated being this weak, even though it was the beginning to her pregnancy, she didn't like this feeling. Becoming all emotional over something stupid like this. But she couldn't help it, honestly she couldn't, she just needed time by herself to cry. No one to cry with her, no one to console her, just be by herself, crying.28

After her little emotional run was over which consisted of her little cry moment, an angry moment where she vowed to castrate Yuuske the next time he even so much as tried to say she was gonna get fat to a sympathy moment, back to another angry moment and then back to her calm self she exited the alley walking by a clothes shop as she stopped and went back to the window looking inside at a crimson red Kimono. How beautiful it was, almost the same color as blood, with flower petals of gold and violet carefully etched on the sleeves and right side of the kimono. Two cranes ran up the left side one with its neck facing up and its wings spread while the other lay beside the first with its neck and face, faced downwards right beside the other crane as their white feathers with black tips were scattered along the left sleeve and trim of the kimono.29

Kurama stared in awe at the kimono as she walked inside and talked with the sales woman and pointed at the kimono in the window. The woman nodded some and brought her to the back letting her try it on as she placed a hair ornament in Kurama's hair as Kurama looked at herself in the mirror smiling some. It was beautiful indeed, and looked absolutely stunning on her. She wished Hiei was here to see her in it though, but he was back with the others. Who knows they were probably looking for her by now...what did she care? After what Yuuske had said they could look all they want. She was happy right now being by herself, in her new kimono, nothing could take this from her.30

"How much?" She asked looking at the saleswoman. 31

"Its been taken care of." She said.32

Kurama blinked some and slowly turned seeing Hiei and the others standing by the door as she smiled a little. 33

"Hey that looks good on you." Yuuske said as Kurama blushed. 34

"Do you like it Hiei?" She asked.35

"It makes you look like royalty...." He said as Kurama smiled some as she got dressed in her normal clothes and left with the others with her new kimono in hand. 36

That night after dinner and long bath Hiei and Kurama shared a night of intimate pleasure the two lay in each others arms as Hiei rubbed Kurama's stomach giving him a small massage as Kurama moaned.37

"Hiei...mmm that feels good." She sighed.38

"Go on and rest for now, I'll be here in the morning when you wake up." he said kissing Kurama again as Kurama nodded some going to sleep.
