Part II

Lilly, continued talking about her so-called "panic attacks". But he wasn't listening. To him it didn't really matter what a person said using his lips, lips can easily lie, he was examining her. Watching every single move she made, even the slightest was important. He was able to tell the difference between the small, seemingly insignificant moves a person makes when talking.

Tonight he was looking for something particular. He was trying to find something in her body language that would indicate she had picked up her old habit again. He didn't want to ask her as that may cause her confusion and disbelief.. so he kept on examining her every move. "... I know I am older now and should be more mature and I am... ", Lilly kept on going. She wasn't really talking it was more something like mumbling things, almost ignoring his presence and talking to herself.  But she could not fool him. To the untrained eye she was acting cool, lay-ed back and comfortable, but he knew better than that. As the words "should" and "mature" came out of her mouth so did the truth out of her body... Just for a second, a moment almost invisible, her eyes rolled, not focusing on the ceiling as she spoke.

That was all he needed. Her beautiful blue eyes, that could always hide the truth so well were the ones to give up her truth... "... it's like I don't trust myself with anything now, I mean I keep forgetting what I have to do. That's why I am so stressed..." her words verifying the truth he already knew..

Then suddenly she stooped talking. The roomed filled with a deafening silence. She turned her head and looked at him right into the eyes. Oh how beautiful her eyes were! How beautiful she was.. Her hair shining under the light of the evening sun... Her skin so soft like velvet. He could almost feel it on his fingers. Timed stooped for him as he gazed into the ocean of her eyes. She looked like an angel even now that her wings were broken. Yes, she had a few bruises but nothing could hide her glow, her soul glowed brighter than any star or sun. So beautiful she was. And he could touch her, he was so close to what he wanted...

"What?!" her voice awakened him from his vision. How long has he been staring in her eyes? It seemed like a century but it couldn't have been longer than just a couple of seconds. Her perfume filled the room and made him dizzy. Her voice hypnotized him.. It was time to end this session.

"Lilly, I want you to think about what may have caused this anxiety. I know you've already told me you don't know, but I believe you do. So tonight when you go home search deep inside of you to find that one thing that has the power to control your life, to make you suffer for no obvious reason, to make you want to give up..." That last sentence made an impact on both him and Lilly, he was not sure whether he was talking to her or to himself.

 11

"We'll talk next week." With these words he said goodnight to his troubled 20-year-old teen. She got up gave him a firm look, reminding him that she didn't particularly enjoy leaving things for next week and left...
