Sex Scandel (Introduction)

A young African-American missionary named Katherine goes to the Burma/Thai border to help provide aid to Karen refugees in a camp. While she's there she has sexual encounters with a young Burmese soldier Moe Myint; who she later ends up falling inlove with despite the fact that she has a boyfriend back in New York. Right after he confesses his love for her, he is shot dead by his battlion commander's right hand man Lt. Thein. Lt. Thein later feels deeply horrible for what he has done and wants to leave the military life behind. He's willing to change his evil ways with the help of the young Katherine Jordan. He wants to bring God into life and build a deep relationship with him.1

After being kidnapped in the middle of the night in wilderness of the Thai/Burma border. Katherine is being held captive in an abandoned village in rural Burma; that was once taken over by Commander Kwan and his men. While Katherine is being held captive right before being shiped to a prison in Yangon, Burma; she is being used as Commander Kwan's personal sex slave. Katherine later makes a shocking discovery. She is pregnant! Who is the father, Commander Kwan, or Moe Myint? Katherine deals with her personal demons; her shocking secret, her promisciousness, her dreams, and being used as a horrible drunkard's sex slave. The letter that Lt. Thein showed Katherine that Moe written to her a few days before he was shot reveales Moe's deepest and truest feeling for the young missionary.2

Between days and perhaps months of Katherine being trapped in an abandoned village with a Burmese army Commander with a sick and disgusting hunger for raping wemon and girls and a bigger hunger for Katherine and his partner who is willing to change; and days without contact with the outside word or the other missionaries she arrived with. Katherine remains strong dispite her turmoil. She finds light and strenghth inside her she knew she never possesed. The only light that guides her through a dark tunnel; Jesus Christ. 3
