Remember first grade when we did everything together?
Remember all those fun years we had together?
I remember going to girl scout camp many summers.
I remember that we didn't care about anybody else.1
Remember our fifth grade teacher?
Remember moving to the middle school?
I remember sticking together throught that year.
I remember talking at lunch about our classes.2
Remember the beginning of seventh grade?
Remember that horrible fight?
I remember the shame I felt.
I remember the guilt of making you feel bad?3
Remember the pain we went through?
Remember how at the end we came back together?
I remember realizing the pain I was causing.
I remember realizing that you are the best friend.4
Remember the joy of being reunited?
Remember all the making up that happened?
I remember seeing that nothing can take you away.
I remember realizing that you are a true friend.
Author notes
This was written for some friends who I had a fight with. Like in the poem I said that in the end I found out that nothing can stop our friendship because they are the best friends I could ever wish for. I was suppose to mention "Keep Holding On" which is my favorite song.
