The Blackest Tears ch 4

"Why were you with Alex?" asked Sebastion.1

"I have to hang out with someone." I replied.2

"You coulda hung out with us. I woulda introduced you to Alex's boyfriend, and all of my friends"3

"Well really I just went outside and she was out there."4

"Smoking?"5

"No"6

"Ah I see. She seems like she would, but o well."7

"Why do you hate her?"8

"I don't hate her. I'm just not intersted in her anymore. Or any other girl at our school for that matter."9

I though this over. Did this mean he was gay? Oh mygod I hoped so.10

He put his head phones in but left one off to talk. I wanted so badly to grab his hand or just rest my head on his shoulder at the least.11

"Why were you so pissy this morning?"12

"Uhm I'm not a morning person."13

"Oh ok."14

It would have to work because it was the only answer I was getting out of him.15

"So, why did ya move here?"16

"My real dad abused me so I moved in with my uncle."17

"That sucks." he seemed sad.18

By this time we were the only two left on the bus. We were also in the back seat so the camera couldn't see us. I hugged him and he just starred at me. I put my head on his shoulder and he continued to just stare, not rejecting but not understanding.19

"Um, Are you ok?" he asked after a while.20

"Ya, sorry." I replied nervousy as I walked off the bus swiftly. 21

I walked in my home. I was disgusted to even call it a home. I may have moved away from an abusive dad, but I moved into an abusive uncle. I went straight to my room and crawled in my closet to sleep. I would have three hours before he got home ,and I wanted to sleep tonight.22

As soon as I started to sleep the door bell rang. I timidly crawled out and walked down stairs. My uncle wasn't home so I opened the door. It was Sebastion,what was he doing here? Before I could ask I got my answer. He gently kissed me and waited for my reaction. I stood there stunned. 23

"What the..." I started to ask.24

"I'm sorry. it was just..." I cut him off and kissed him. He kissed me back ,and we went inside. Weslowly walked up the stairs hand in hand and into my room. I suddenly heard a car door shut and I panicked. I had Sebastion hide in the back of the closet behinde some boxes and I sat in my usual spot pretending to be asleep.25

"Where the hell are you!" roared my uncle.26

I stood up and ran out to him. O *bunny*! He saw didn't he! *bunny* *bunny* *bunny*!!!!27

"Make my dinner." he commanded. 28

I nodded my head and headed toward the kitchen. I stuck in some chicken stripes and fries into the microwave. When the timer dinged I took it out and rushed it to him. He glared at me and took it.29

"Go to your room. I might bring you up dinner later."30

I noded and started to go to my room. First, I went to the kitch and grabbed some crackers and a drink for Sebastion. When I got to my room I headed into the closet and had him come out with me. I gave him the crackers and drink and he ate and drank them quickly. He pulled out his cellphone and told his mom he'd be staying the night.31


I hadn't told him anything , but I think he had figured it out already. We sat on my old army cot and talked quietly. I heard foot steps on the stairs and had him rush to the closet. He closed the closet door as soon as my uncle opened my bedroom door. He threw a granola bar and a small cup of water at me then slammed the door and left.32

Sebastion came out and asked "So what do we do for the rest of the day?"33

"He won't come back until tomorrow." I replied as i watched my uncle pull out of the driveway. 34

I quickly ate my food and rested my head on Sebastion's chest. He smiled and held me close to him. It was so good... I missed him a lot. And yet I've known him for less than a day.
