Bible Thumper a series over too much Christainity- Exodus

The ride to school wasn't something that Cici and Sica really enjoyed. They had opted to sit in the back seat hoping that maybe Trevor wouldn't put on his favorite music. They also hoped that since they were behind him, he wouldn't be able to throw holy water on them. 1

Trevor had done the blessing over the cars, and had done a prayer. Yet, it was never enough.2

"You two ready for the morning prayer before we drive?"3

Cici looked at Sica then back, to Trevor saying.4

"Trevor, you already prayed over the cars and threw holy water on it, how much more protection do you want?"5

Sica snickered.6

"Yeah, are you wanting an army of Angels to trail the car and blast other "evil cars" off the road just in case they think that sinful thought of hitting you?"7

Trevor looked at them through the rear view mirror, alittle dazed as to how it could be funny. Why hadn't he thought of Angels blasting satanic cars? He frowned alittle to himself, but instantly perked up.8

"How about instead of praying for Angels to blast the satanic cars away, I put in my favorite CD?"9

Cici and Sica groaned.10

"Not the nursery CD again!"11

Trevor shook his head at Sica's remark.12

"No...the bible on Audio. I was just about to get into Exodus."13

Cici's eyes grew wide.14

"Don't you think it's a bit insane to have the bible not only in every language ever, the pocket version, and on audio?"15

Trevor smiled brightly.16

"Nope, I THINK IT'S PERFECT!"17

He threw the CD into the player, a deep voice came over the radio as Trevor started the car and was off into the sea of traffic. Cici and Sica leaned their heads against the windows wishing that God would save them.18

"Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already. And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them."19

The man stopped to cough and clear his voice, which didn't bother the twins. What bothered them was as the man read on, Trevor was quoting along with him.20

"Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour."21

Sica tried to draw but Trevor only turned up the CD to make it to where she had to listen. She almost thought that this was her punishment for not reading over the summer. She banged her head against the window.22

"And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah: And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. 21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. 22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive."23

They just pulled into the parking lot when the chapter ended and Trevor turned off the car. He turned to the Twins with a twinkle in his eye.24

"I believe that was the best Chapter yet!"25

They both bolted from the car before he could say anything more about it. Trevor always cried after a chapter of the bible, it was like he felt that every word needed to be cried over. It was one reason why the pastor of their church refused to let him read to the congregation anymore. He would cry and sometimes run into the crowd throwing water on random people.26

Cici remembered the first of the summer, that Trevor had started to read and in the middle of it started to cry. He had then jumped off the stage infront of Ms. Martin who was their neighbor and started drowning her with holy water.27

Poor Ms Martin had been wearing a white shirt and before you knew it, there was more to see on Ms. Martin than just the horrified expression. Trevor had been grounded from church for three weeks after that. Just think the only way to punish him, was to punish him from Church. 28

"HEY WAIT!"29

Trevor had called, as he had finished blessing the car again for being parked in the school parking lot. (Because in every school parking lot there is always a risk for a demon to come steal your car.)30

Sica and Cici started to pick up a speed wanting to get lost in the crowd, but Trevor kept calling.31

"I DIDN'T GET TO PRAY OVER YOU!"32

Sica and Cici hid in the girls room, listening as Trevor passed by. Cici looked at Sica and shook her head.33

"I thought we would never get away from him!"34

Sica nodded.35

"Can we sell some of his stuff? The Audio is worse than the little kid songs."36

Cici thought for a moment.37

"I don't know...He might have a hidden copy we don't know about."38

They could hear Trevor outside the girls room again, but they knew better than to look. If he saw them, he'd just wait until everyone was in the their classrooms to corner them. They'd have to be tricky today, because with Trevor he had to pray over everyone he knew. That's why he didn't have any friends.39

"You know that chapter Trevor had going in the car, was talking about the afflictions of a people, and I think that Trevor is that for us."40

Cici said as she heard Trevor go by one more time, the bell for class was about to ring.41

"He's more of like a disease, than an affliction. Atleast with an affliction you might be able to get rid of it."42

Cici smiled alittle.43

"You're right, the irony of it all is that we will always be his sisters."44

Sica bit her lip alittle.45

"Don't remind me, I've been wondering how to do a blood transfusion so I can say that by that default we're not really related."46
