Loving You

A heartfelt feeling, coming sincere
From the bottom of my heart to you
For never before, have I felt a love
So special, so honest, so true1

A love so special, that makes me feel
Like the luckiest man in the world
But what's to say, maybe I am
You're such a lovely girl2

A love so honest, I feel I can say
Anything that comes to my mind
And this communication, information relation
Is a key thing that's hard to find3

A love so true, that for you I'm willing
To give all that I have and more
And as time progresses and ever progresses
You'll still be the girl I adore4

But yet at times, I must admit
I wonder what you see in me ever
For now at times, I truly believe
That you can do so much better5

And thus I know, how blessed I am
To be together as 'Mika and 'Drew
For through the times, good or bad
I'll always be loving you

Author notes

This is a poem about someone near and dear to my heart. Each stanza has a different rhyme pattern to it. If read correctly, the poem flows very smoothly.

    I think it's a lovey poem

    But this contest is for stories with a minimum of 800 words, so you're quite a bit short.

    This is beautiful. You are a great writer and it would only take a second for you to be published. I love all your writing and you should aim at a novel or something. I love the flow of the poem and it has great emotional qualities.
