Steaf could feel the proverbial bubble of fear grow in his stomach. The Bubbles of Atlantis were the most feared bubbles within Bubble land. Unlike the Yun bubbles, the Tallonian bubbles were aggressive and tried to conquer all neighboring Bubble lands. Steaf knew his bubble could very well pop at any time in battle, but he had to protect his bubble land. Looking back to the small city made of one giant enclosing bubble, his resolve expanded. 1
The opposing bubble army wasted no time laying siege to the bubble city. The impending army popped the bubble of courage any of the new recruits may have had inspired in them previously. With pointy objects in front, they charged across the current. Forming a protective bubble formation around the entry gate, the defenders lowered their bubble shields. Made of special filament, the bubble shield could withstand and buckle to impact on the bubble surface. 2
Soon the invaders came, and all Hell popped. Being underneath the murky waters of Guadf-Soh, the combat was three dimensional and chaotic. Bubble flew everywhere, popping as stalwart defender met the unending horde of aggressors. With the initial assault held bay, the remaining Yun bubbles started to go after the Tallonian bubbles. 3
Steaf had found a loner bubble; he was blown away from the rest of the group. Reaching for his shark-tooth dagger, he pushed himself towards the foreign bubble. Immediately, it saw him and charged head on. Steaf, still lacking actual combat experience, almost froze, paralyzed. His mind bubbled with idea, plans, actions to engage in, but no particular action seemed more reasonable than the others. The young bubble just stood there, his knife out in front. 4
The barbaric Tallonian bubble kept on charging at Steaf, until he had no choice but to expand, driving his sharp-edged tooth into the Tallonian’s belly. Death was almost instantaneous, with a resounding popping noise, the attacker was done for. Steaf felt a wind rush of emotions, triumph, relief, strength, when suddenly, he registered a projectile entering his bubble membrane. 5
Poof. Death.

hmmm
This seemed pointless to me. I think with a little touching up, this could be really good. Like if you added some kind of underlying meaning...like humor or some point that war is bad or good or whatever you think. But good start. Thanks for entering the contest! -
That has got to be the best bubble story I've ever read. Then again, it's also the only one I've ever read.
Just kidding: considering it's such a random topic, you did an awesome job.
"Poof. Death."
The life of a bubble is so abrupt. Hey, is there a Bubble Heaven? Maybe that oughta be the second part...
Peace, love, and yellow submarines,

Haha...bubbles...
Me and my friend Josh made up the most splendifferous sport involving bubble wrap!
You wrap up in the pastic stuffers and roll down the drive way and they count how many bubbles popped! Whoever popped the most wins! That's a lot of bubbles to count though so it's an all day thing! -
This is *bubble*ing awesome!!!!!!
