Beautiful Moon Song chapter 6

"Hey, where exactly are we goin?" "I'm not sure sorry about this." "No, it's alright. I was just wonderin." "Alright, well, let's get somewhere before dark so that we don't get caught in the storm and have no shelter." Everyone walks through the snow. Mizuki sniffs the air to see if anyone was in the area. "Is anyone in the area Miz?" "Can't tell" Mizuki says while sniffing around. "I guess we'll know soon enough. Let's get goin." 1

Mizuki nods and they start moving again. Soon they come to a forest and they start moving through it. Akira slows down and Shadow moves beside her and starts helping her by having her lean on him. Mizuki stops and sniffs the air and then sneezes. "Somethin wrong?" "Hey Star, give ya one guess." Star stopped dead and stared at her. "Are you kiddin me!? We're honestly goin into her territory?" "Yes, just be careful what you do in here because it's true she doesn't like us for some reason. So we've got to be very careful." Star sighs and slowly walks behind Mizuki. 2

Kaiyou and Shadow look at each other then at Kallie, Sara, and Akira. "Do you understand what's goin on?" Shadow asks quietly. They all shake their heads and they all walk after Mizuki and Star. Mizuki and Star look everywhere while walking forward. Sara and Kallie wak side by side. Akira waks behind them and Kaiyou and Shadow at the end. They waked for a few more feet and then they hear a howl.3

Everyone went still and listened. The howling continued and it put Mizuki on edge. Then Mizuki started growling and flipped to the right just in time to get tackled. They started fighting and the rest of the pack backed up, not knowing what to do. The wolf that attacked backed off and was turning away thinking Mizuki was finished. Mizuki pounced on them and started growling and snarling. The wolf looked up at Mizuki and said "Mizuki, is that really you?"4

Mizuki slowed her growling and snarling but didn't stop. "Mizuki, it's me. It's Lani" Mizuki backed up and stared at her. "What are you doing here Mizuki?" "Trying to find a new territory what about you?" "Not much just patrolling the territory. I didn't recognize you sorry about that." "Don't worry about it just be more careful." "I guess I'll have to be. Well, hope you find a new territory."5

Mizuki nods and Lani moves away. Mizuki shakes her head and procedes cautiously as to not be taken by suprise again. Soon they are through that territory and move towards the mountains. They start moving up and about half way up they find a vace. They slowly move forward to find no one in here. It was cold and it didn't look like anyone had ever been her. Star looks around while Kallie, Sara, and Akira lay down in a corner. 6

Kaiyou and Shadow stay beside the entrance to watch for others. Mizuki shakes the snow off and sits down. " We will rest here. Star, stay here with Kallie and them while Kaiyou and Shadow come with me to hunt. Star nods and Kaiyou and Shadow wait outside. Mizuki follow them and they goto hunt. "Will they be alright by themselves Star?" "I hope so." They all look outside and hope for the best.
