'The Night KITT Saved Christmas'

The night was cold, as the story's told1

On that fateful Christmas Eve2

With snow so high, it would be July3

Before it would all unfreeze.4

But Santa Claus can't wait to thaw5

He had to make that flight!6

The reindeer sailed but the wind prevailed7

And the sleigh went down that night.8

--9

The darkest moment10

Ever known11

Would be if children12

Some young, some grown13

On Christmas morning14

Awoke to see15

Not a single present16

Beneath the tree.17

--18

The night19

KITT20

Saved21

Christmas.22

--23

Through the desert hills -24

Far from winter's chills -25

Were the Knight Rider and KITT.26

They heard the SOS27

"Michael, Santa's in distress."28

"We've got to get him out of this!"29

"Channel four degrees30

East by Northeast31

And Michael, we've no time to spare."32

Pedal to the floor, KITT's engine roared33

Turbo Boost into the air!34

--35

The darkest moment36

Ever known37

Would be if children38

Some young, some grown39

On Christmas morning40

Awoke to see41

Not a single present42

Beneath the tree.43

--44

The night45

KITT46

Saved47

Christmas.48

--49

"Michael, I'm picking up a signal."50

"Kitt, give me a close-up of that snowbag over there."51

"Looks like I've found our man."52

A thousand gifts lay atop the drifts53

Poor Santa far below.54

KITT pulled back, prepared to attack55

And blasted through the snow.56

They hooked the sleigh and they were on their way57

KITT in Rudolph's place.58

They made their rounds through every town59

Put a smile on every face.60

The darkest moment62

Ever known63

Would be if children64

Some young some grown65

On Christmas morning66

Awoke to see67

Not a single present68

Beneath the tree.69

Ah, but the darkest moment70

Never came71

'Cause KITT and Michael72

Well they saved the day!73

That Christmas morning74

Dawned clear and bright75

No trace of trouble76

All through the night.77

"Michael, this isn't exactly Foundation business. How are you going to justify the expense?"84

"Don't you worry about Devon. After all, this is Christmas! And besides, we're having a great time!"85

"A great time? You call towing a herd of reindeer and a fat man in a red suit a great time? Really, Michael..."86

"Listen, KITT, just try to think about the smiles on those children's faces when they wake up tomorrow morning!"87

"I'll never understand this human sentimentality."88

Author notes

These are actually the lyrics to a song put to a remix of the Knight Rider Theme. No, I didn't write them, someone else did. Just thought I'd share

    Awesome!

So funny! I gotta admit, KITT is way better than a dumb reindeer with a big red nose!!!(jk, I am not Rudolph-prejudiced ).

Truer words have rarely been spoken.
Kewl lyrics, though. Thanks for sharing!
