( This had been a very rewarding and joyful day for Franklin, Megan and their proud daughter Storm. Megan had just given birth to their second child, lil Franklin Jr. He was such a little precious sight to see. He weigh eight pounds and ten ounces with a head fully loaded with naturally curled hair. Storm was so happily amazed that she was now officially a big sister. Megan was exhausted after being in labor for almost twelve hours. She was just so releived that it was all over with. Franklin was thrilled to death over his first son. He had been right there by Megan's side throughtout it all.5

After the nurses had taken lil Frankie to the nursery and cleaned him all up a couple of hours later they brought him back in the private room with the proud family. Megan could barly keep her eyes opened. All she wanted to do was sleep. Her exhaustion had been overbaring. Because of Storms excitement over her new baby brother she insisted that she hold him and give him his first feeding. Franklin agreed and assisted her in doing so. The private room that they shared was very nice. Basically it was like an elegant apartment. There was a refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board, vanity set, kitchenet, entertainment center accent with a big screen plazma tv, second full size bed for Franklin and Storm, lil Frankie's baby crib, changing table, sofa and matching recyliner chair, and a small dinning area with dinning table and four chairs )6

Hey you guys. Is the baby alright?10

FRANKLIN :11

Yes baby, he's doing just fine. 12

^^^^ Franklin guided Storm and lil Frankie over to Megan's bedside so she could look at him ^^^^13

MEGAN :14

Auh he is so precious. Storm be very careful with him okay?He's just a newborn so be gentle.15

STORM :16

I am mommie. Dady and the nurse taught me how to hold him and give him his bottle the proper way. I know how to do it really good now.17

^^^^ Megan looked into her daughter's bright joyful face and gave her a I love you smile ^^^^18

MEGAN :19

Sweetie, mommie is so proud of you. You are a big sister now and I'm going to need your help when we get home. You think you're ready for that?20

STORM :21

Oh yes mommie. I can hardly wait to take my little brother home with us so he can see his new home. Are we going to take him home tonight when you wake up?22

^^^^ Megan and Franklin looked at each other and smiled from the interest they watched in their daughter while she snuggled closly with her baby brother ^^^^23

MEGAN :24

No sweetheart, we can't take the baby home tonight. Maybe it will be tomorrow. We have to make sure he is doing well and all before leaving.25

STORM :26

Well can't Dr. Abner just come to our house and check on him? He has his own crib at home just like the one over there.27

MEGAN :28

Yes he does but we have to follow the rules Storm. We don't have all the equipment at home to run assorted test on him like here at the hospital. We're going home with him soon okay?29

^^^^ Storm just shook her head to reply but all of her attention was focused on baby Frankie while she was yet cuddling with him ^^^^30

FRANKLIN :31

I think Storm is going to have a bit of a problem once the nanny starts coming over to care for lil Frankie. She has such a close attachment already. Huuummm!32

MEGAN :33

I think she'll be fine though. When we all get settled in at home, and he starts with the crying episodes, trust me she'll get tired.34

^^^^ Megan and Franklin both laughed while Franklin was shaking his head agreeing ^^^^35

FRANKLIN :36

Yeh and not to mention having to dispose the dirty smelly diapers that everyone is going ot be asking her to throw in the garbage after each changing.37

MEGAN :38

Yes, you're so right.39

^^^^ While Franklin had been sitting right next to Megan on the bed, he leaned over to kiss her dry but moist lips as he ran his fingers through the top protion of her soft but deranged hair ^^^^40

FRANKLIN :41

I love you baby! and thank you for giving me this precious lil guy today. I know you had a rough time with the labor pains and all but I am so proud of you. You did a wonderful job baby.42

MEGAN :43

You're welcome. I couldn't have done it without you though, so thank you for being here by myside throughout it all. I love you to. And by the way, have you called Jordan yet?44

FRANKLIN :45

No I haven't called anyone just yet.46

Because I want this time to be for only us. Your mom and dad can come over tomorrow and visit but tonight is our night with our new member of the family okay?50

I'm one step ahead of you baby. I called Jordan lastnight while you were in labor. He's on his way down here right now. You see I'm still thoughtful under pressure.54

I've been constantly calling trying to get in touch with Megan and Franklin. No one is answering the phone. I've called the house phone and both of their cellular phones and they aren't even answering that. I wonder where in the world they could be.61

BENNIE EARL :62

You worry to much Cora Ann. I'm sure when they see your number or listen to your thousand messages, they'll call you back. You've been calling around the clock. Give them some time to spend together. Have it occured to you that they might not want to be disturbed?63

CORA ANN :64

I just want to check on her and see how she's doing. You know she haven't been feeling well for the past month and that baby is due anytime now.65

BENNIE EARL :66

Well maybe that's what they are doing now, having the baby.67

CORA ANN :68

You're saying it for a joke but you just might be right. Let me call over to the hospital and find out.69

^^^^ Cora grabbed the cordless phone and began pressing numbers ^^^^70

( It took about ten minutes for Cora Ann to find out that Megan was admitted into the hospital and had given birth to a eight pound, ten ounce healthy baby boy. Franklin had advised the nurses at the nurses station to send no calls through to their private room. This was very upsetting to Cora Ann. She wanted to talk to her daughter and see her new grandson inspite of Franklin but there was absolutely nothing she could do about it. She just constantly wondered why would they have it where no calls could come through and why on earth hadn't Franklin called to let them know Megan was having the baby? That really didn't set well with Cora Ann at all and she intended on letting Franklin know it as well. In the meantime she took it upon herself to call relatives and friends to spread the good news about her newborn grandson )72

Thank you Dexter for a wonderful evening. I really enjoyed you as I always do. You seem to always bring out the humorous side of me.78

For the billionth time, I told you that it was time for me to make a career change. I get bored doing the same thing for a long period of time. What's the big deal? You still have the opportunity for us to go out sometimes. So it's not like you never see me. Come on now.89

DEXTER :90

Yeh, I'll say yes to that. I guess what I should have really said was, I miss seeing you there.91

LEXY :92

Well anyway I love my new job and I still get to see you so there shouldn't be anything to complain about. Change is a good thing when you're doing it for a good cause.93

DEXTER :94

And I'm definitely not complaining by any means. I'm just simply stating that I miss seeing all this sexiness sitting at your desk when I walk through. 95

( After getting out of a twenty minute warm and soothing beauty bubble bath, Lexy's sleep had vanished. She wrapped her brown silky fine skin into her light pink terry cloth bathrobe. This was one of Lexy's favorite robes. It was so soft cuddly and comfortable. Lounging around in it was a must after each soothing bath. Before settling herself on her comfy sofa, Lexy entered her kitchen to mix up her a sleeping tea and put it in the tea pot to get steamy hot. Just as she finished, she heard the sound of her doorbell ringing. Lexy looked over on her kitchen wall to check the time. It was a little past eleven thirty, and who would be showing up at her place at this hour without warning, she thought. The first person entered her mind was none other than Franklin Harper. She hadn't had any contact with him since he had dismissed her Kelly Aerospace. Lexy asked herself, why would he be showing up now? Surly he wouldn't have the nerves to show up at her place unannouced. Suddenly Lexy pondered another thought. Could it be Dexter? Maybe something had happened to him after he dropped her off so without anymore hesitation, Lexy answered the door quickly. To her surprise it was neither Franklin nor Dexter )99

( Lexy's lovely body, with the covering of nothing but her terry cloth robe, froze like a cube of ice.With an astonishing exspression, Lexy became speechless as a standing statue. This was definitely a surprise if she ever had one. surveyed Jordan's entire fine ass body. Lexy would have never imagined in a million years that this very moment was to come so unexspectedly. Standing in her apartment's doorway was one of the most finest guys she had ever seen. Of course she knew that Jordan was Franklin's younger brother. So what Lexy always thought, Megan was also her sister and it hadn't mattered. For a little over a year, this was the moment Lexy always longed for. Jordan often wondered, how could any man with a beautiful woman such as Lexy, could do anything to hurt her physically? This guy surly had to be a jerk, Jordan thought )104

Oh My God! Please forgive me. I'm so sorry, come on inside. Pardon my manners I wasn't exspecting any company tonight.110

^^^^ Jordan entered, smelling so much like Franklin. They usually wore the same type cologn. Lexy did remember that much from working at Kelly's Aerospace ^^^^111

No need to apologize. I didn't have your number or I would have called. I've been trying to reach Franklin but I guess he has his cell phone turned off. So have you been over to the hospital yet to see the new member of the family?113

^^^^ Lexy looked at Jordan with a skeptical look because she had no idea what he was talking about ^^^^114

Auh ...you mean to tell me you didn't know?116

Your sister just had the baby earlier this evening. I'm assuming around threeish. 120

^^^^ With a revealing unconcern look Lexy began to hold her terry cloth robe tightly to her naked body ^^^^121

No I had no idea. I have been out all evening so if they called I missed it.123

^^^^ Lexy had to collect herself because it was so easy for her to show her nonchalant attitude when it came to her family members. She put on her fake smile and decided that she should make a somewhat niceable comment ^^^^124

I'm not trying to intrude on your evening and if I have I can leave right now. I forgot and left my spare key to Franklin's estate back at home in Hartford. I guess I got so excited about the good news that it completely slipped my mind.126

^^^^ While wondering how did Jordan know where she lived, Lexy sat in the single chair across the room from where Jordan had taken a relaxing seat on her nice couch ^^^^127

Oh ..No..N..Noo you're not intruding. I had a dinner and movie date earlier tonight. I made it home around the neigborhood of ten thirty, or something like that.129

^^^^ Lexy never felt the need that she had to explain herself to any man, so why was she explaining to Jordan, she thought. Damn! he looked so handsome sitting over there ^^^^130

JORDAN :131

And your man let you be here alone on a Saturday night? Huummmm that's kinda strange baby girl.132

^^^^ Lexy gave Jordan a plushing and confused expression by the statement that he had made so she decided to give it right back to him ^^^^133

LEXY :134

And why would you assume that I have a man? I could ask you the same type question. Your lady allowed you to take an eight hour drive all by yourself? Huh?135

^^^^ Jordan couldn't help but to give her the mystical look with his hazeling eyes. Many woman called that his charm look ^^^^136

JORDAN :137

Yes my lady lets me do whatever I want to do. That's the kind of relationship we have established. Wouldn't have it any other way.138

^^^^ Lexy had a very puzzling look in her eyes after Jordan's statement. It was almost like her heart had sunk. She could swear that Franklin had told her once before that Jordan wasn't seriously involved with anyone. Perfect timing she thought with a dissappointing look covering her face. Just my luck she hissed to herself while struggling to find the words to make a responce ^^^^139

Well, I guess I should say that's a wonderful thing. It's good to have an understanding.141

JORDAN :142

Indeed it is. So why don't you tell me what type of understanding do you and your man have with each other? I mean if he were to show up right now, would you say that he would be highly pissed?143

^^^^ Trying to gather herself because Jordan was really bringing it out. Lexy had to searched for more words to put together before responding ^^^^144

Why do you keep on insisting that I am involved with someone? I never implied that did I?146

^^^^ Jordan sat up a little while clearing his throat ^^^^147

No you didn't imply that but from a man's point of view I'd say you've got to be taken. There is no gorgeous and sexy woman as yourself that would be single.149

^^^^ Jordan gave Lexy his most skeptical look while twitching and bitting on his lower lip. Was she serious he thought. Jordan began to refresh his memory on the abusive boyfriend that Franklin had once told him about. Could this be the guy she's referring to? Jordan wasn't going to stick around to find out so he took a stand from the couch attempting to say goodnight ^^^^157

Look I don't want to cause you any problems with your man. I'm just going to get going. I apologize, I shouldn't have stopped by in the first place. I guess I thought that maybe all of the family would be celebrating the birth of the newest little member of the family tonight.161

^^^^ Looking frantically at the most handsome man that Lexy had ever seen, she couldn't help but to feel guilty for the plot that she was presenting to him. Lexy knew that she had to correct the situation in a hurry. There was noway she was going to allow him to believe she was seriously involved with any particular guy. Afterall it wasn't like her and Dexter had put a label on their friendship eventhough they had been spending an ample amount of time together over the past three months. It wasn't like they had been engagging into any kind of sexual intimacy. Hell yeh! Dexter was fine and very attractive but when it came to Jordan, there was no comparison. Jordan was the man ^^^^ 162
