Heartbreak Kid-chapter 1

It was a beautiful,peaceful night.Jack walked to his favorite place-the lake-to be alone.He was not ready to go home yet.He was very heartbroken and not in the mood to be with anyone..especially that girl.That girl used him and just really didn't have feelings for him at all.He was just a toy for her.Jack closed his eyes and tried to forget the pain...the embarrassment...the anger.But he couldn't..it would haunt him for the rest of his life. Everyone would laugh and won't care one bit for him or his feelings.It all started when Jack was at Billy's party.Billy was 16 and he invited everyone to his swimming pool party.''Are you having a good time Billy?''asked Jack.Jack was stuffing his face with birtday cake..it was his third fill.''Yes,I sure am.''he said in between bites.Jack laughed.''You're gonna have a really big stomach ache you know.You might wanna stop eating all that sweet.''said Jack.''Oh please..like I care.I love birthday cakes..its my favorite part of having a birthday.That and all the presents you can get.''said Billy still stuffing his face.''Okay..its your stomach.But don't start feeling bad when I say I told you so.''said Jack as he shook his head and left Billy to his eating.Jack went inside Billy's house to get his swim trunks.But he couldn't find them..he was sure he brought them with him.Then Jack snapped his fingers.''It must be at home..dang..I better go get them.''he said as he ran out of the front door.His home was a block away and all he had to do was turn this last corner.When he did..he ran right into something.He fell down and so did the thing he hit.He looked closer and that thing was a human.''Oops..sorry sir.I didn't mean to run into you.''he said.The human got up and turned to Jack.''Oh thats alright.I wasn't looking where I was going..I'm sorry.''said the human smiling.Jack couldn't believe his eyes.It wasn't a man..it was a girl.A pretty one at that.Jack smiled and helped the girl up to her feet.''So..um..whats your name.''he managed to say.The girl pushed her hair back out from her eyes.''My names Janet.Who are you?''she said.''Jack.''he relied.''Jack?What a nice name.It's nice to bump into you Jack.''said Janet laughing.Jack also laughed.''I never seen you before..did you just moved here?''he asked.Janet nodded.''Yes,I just moved in a few minutes ago.I'm checking out the neighborhood while my parents unpack.''she said.''Ah okay.Hey,theres a swimming pool party at my friend's house.Do you wanna come?''he asked.Janet nodded.''Great..but first I gotta go home to get my swimming trunks.''he said.Janet laughed.''Okay,I'll got with you.I wanna see where you live.''she said as she followed Jack.When got to his house..he saw a moving van right next door.He then firgured out that Janet was his next door neighbor.''Cool..we're neighbors.Haha..nice to meet you neighbor.''she said laughing and shaking Jack's hand.Jack laughed.He then ran into his house..grabbed his trunks and ran back out.''Ready?''he asked Janet.''Yep.''she replied.They then ran to Billy's party.
