The cries of the people were heard from the ashes of the burning town, the green meadows, now black, held the remaining survivers, as the green dragon eyes watched with pleasure as the village and everything in it burned.2

He had never been caught for his awful deeds, all who saw him died. He was the Dragon Knight. 3

A human with an awful curse, His eyes bright green that seemed to pierce your soul, the look of a dragon, his hair jet black his eyes full of rage all on Hallows Night.4

A strange thing happened on this cursed night, as he watched the village burn, a tear fell down his cheek as his eyes seemed to take their sanity, as a little girl cried out, “Peace, have no fear for us dead.” As the flames consumed her, he saw her dark eyes disappear.5

He turned his face as he disappeared from the village full of grief looking back on the, now burned, wooden shacks he called home, and appeared in front of Marstream Village, he turned to walk away but he was thrown back by some invisible and invinsable force toward Marstream. Just as he was ready to cry out a little boy appeared and said, “Hello mister!” He said in an excited tone, he was just 5 or 6. The man looked up and saw three boys the little one that talked to him, the middle who was 7 or 8, and the eldest who was 10 or 11. The older one just glared at him, some how he could tell something just wasn't right, Honestly the guy couldn't blame him.6

“Hello,” The man answered. 7

“Why are you out here mister?”8

“I'm thinking of moving near here.”9

“Really! We live here!” The boy said with great excitement. Just then the older brothers hand came out and covered his brothers mouth. 10

“We're not supposed to talk to strangers Nick.”11

Nick looked up at his brother with a confused look. His brown eyes seemed to hold a look of disappointment as his hair fell into his eyes.12

“Jay, get the squirrel and lets head out.”13

The middle boy looked at his brother with his bright green eyes showing as his long red hair fell out of his face against the woods outside the village his eyes looked like the leaves on the trees. “And get a hair cut.” His brother continued.14

Nick laughed at Matt's comment. Jay only frowned. Matt's brown hair sagged in his face and his dark blue eyes disappeared. “You need one yourself Matt.” Jay and Nick 15

both laughed and they all walked away towards the peaceful village with lovely cottages that you could barely see with the wall towering and protecting the village, leaving the man to weep for their future deaths.16

Feelings of Sorrow18

As the months passed the village grew to love the man, which the now called Hisaranot, which meant in bondage of sin but none of them knew what it meant.19

Everyone loved him, everyone that is, but Matt.20

Matt knew he could feel something evil, every time Hisaranot came around.21

Hisaranot was sitting on log outside his yellow cottage with a green roof, thinking of what had happened in his life and there was one thing he pondered on constantly, as he stepped back into his past and heard once again that witches awful words.22

“You will appear in a village on Hallows Eves and all but one will grow to love you and because of that one person, the entire village you will destroy the next Hallows Eve.” The witch disappeared, and Hisaranot was given his name.23

He came out of his flashback, only to see Matt standing before him.24

“Matt,” he said with some surprise, “what is it?” Hisaranot asked.25

Matt stood there for a minute as if pondering whether or not to ask something or say something. “W-Why is it when I'm around you I get this strange feeling?”26

Hisaranot sighed, his eyes seemed sad, “Its because of what I am.”27

“What do you mean?”28

“I was cursed by a witch a long time ago, I am...” He stopped not sure if he should continue “I am half Dragon. Every Hallows Eve I am forced to destroy a town and I am forced to go to a new village and I can't die, I've already tried. The witch said its because someone won't love me, they will hate me.” 29

At that Matt nearly burst into tears he realized that he was going to be the cause for the entire villages death. 30

But Hisaranot realized Matt's burden and took his hand and said, “You still have time.” Matt smiled and said “I will try to change.” But the truth was his heart actually had started to love him like a brother with just those few words, the only thing was is that it was that way with the last village.31

The Bondage is Gone33

It was now October 30 the night before Hallows Eve Matt was really excited, his Ma and Pa had invited Hisaranot over for dinner, and he said yes. Matt now couldn't wait to see Hisaranot, and he knew their village wouldn't be destroyed.35

He heard a knock on the door and was the first one there. “Hey Hisara!”36

Hisaranot smiled and said hello, even though Hisara could have been a girls name, it meant Free of sin, And when Matt called him that he felt like he could have flown if he wanted to. Just then everyone came and greeted him. 37

Once again Nick greeted him with that same excited voice he had the day they met, and Jay said hi. When Hisaranot came around he always had a new game to teach them, but only him and Matt knew why.38

After supper he taught the game "Ten Little Indians", a game a boy in the last village came up with you had to count the Indians using your fingers and toes. After their fun the Dad sat them all down and picked up a book and began to read, later on that evening he left happy that the village would make it and he would be able to stay.39

Later that night he couldn't get to sleep all he did was toss and turn. He realized he couldn't remember anything about the last village after the first 2 months, then he remembered that someone had come and hit him over the head the night before Hallows Eve, and all he remembered was the girl that cried, “Peace, have no fear for us dead.” hated him. 40

Someone opened the back door and Hisaranot didn't hear a creak. The witch appeared behind him with a staff in her hand and struck him in the head, just as the clock struck twelve' and the beginning of Hallows Night. Hisaranots eyes turned got that Dragon look and turned to walk out the door. As he stepped out a tree started to burn and fell in front of the entrence and exit of the village. The snap of the tree was so loud that everyone awoke. The ran out to see what had happened. Then some of the village houses began to burn.41

Matt ran up to Hisaranot, “Whats going on?” he asked. Those inhuman eye looked upon him, thats when Matt knew the curse had started, “You have to stop this!” he cried out.42

“Why should I stop because of your begging?” Hisaranot shouted. “You hate me, your want for me to stop is selfish.”43

This statement confused Matt yes he wanted to live, but he didn't want the whole village to die. “I Don't hate you! Your like an uncle to me!” At that the flames quit appearing sanity appeared in his eyes for a moment, his memories drifted back and the witch appeared in front of him.44

“You are bond to me!” She cried. “Why do you think I gave you such a name!”45

“What honor is there in my name!” he cried back “I am no longer bond to you from now on I will be called Hisara, or free from sin."46

The witches eyes raged and his eyes started to get that dragon look as she yelled, “You are bond to me you can't just leave on a whim!”47

“I decided this long ago, and I will not be bond any more!”48

His eyes came back took there sanity and 3 pulses seemed to go into Hisara like the earth was giving some of it spower to him, then one huge pulse went off out of him and blew the witch away, the fires ceased, the tree stood back up and the burnt houses were repaired. 49

To this day no one is exactly sure what happened after that, some say Matt became his apprentice. Some say Hisara left the village. But me, I believe he finally found were he belonged, and if you were to talk to him today, he would tell you he taught those three boys many games, and he ate many suppers with them after that. 50

The name Hisara as far as I now is non-exsistent. This story was meant to show that you are in bondage to sin until you accept Jesus into your heart, even though Satan won't really come and hit you upside the head, and you'll destroy all these place's. You have no power against sin until you are given the power from Jesus.52
