The Destiny of Bacon

The jade grasshopper jumped across a factory skyline as a troupe of umbrellas pirouetted in the town square. Workers in blue overalls hauled purple clouds over the rows of houses, which hummed in the gathering dark. Fish poked their heads from the river, exclaiming; "The angler has escaped!" Doors flapped open and books in many languages gathered on street corners, fiercely debating the identity of The Reader. The people of the town dressed themselves with flowers and left in an orderly procession, their clogs beating a solemn tattoo. Trams whirred through empty streets, carrying here cats, there dogs. Sirens whined.1

This is so mesmerizing for all the longer it is. I am not quite sure what it all means but it certainly has a magically feel to it. I like it. Great job! Good luck in the contest!
