Beautiful Moon Song chapter 4

Mizuki glares at Angel. Angel stands her ground and says "You think you know everything and you don't. I feel sorry for this whole pack. They have to have a leader like you. You know nothing of what goes on outside of your little world. I'd make a better alpha then you ever will." "You think so? Well, have at it. Let's see how well you can take care of this pack." Everyone was standing around watching the scene unfold. "Alright fine I will." Angel turns around and walks towards everyone. 1

"Alright we need food so let's go hunting." Luke nods but Star, Sara, Kallie, and Akira just look at her like she's crazy. "We're going hunting" Angel says. Star moves forward and says "We don't take orders from you! You're nothing but a little girl who thinks she can play at at alpha but guess what? You have to have the respect of your packmates before you can be an alpha and we don't respect you nor do we like you! It's as plain and day!!" Mizuki sat back watching everything unfold. Angel glares at Mizuki and says "You put them up to this?!" "Why would I put them up to this? Honestly you're out of your mind. Yes they are my pack but I don't tell them what to think." Mizuki says calmly. 2

Angel just stands there glaring at her and Mizuki starts walking away. Star, Kallie, Sara, and Akira walk after her and Angel stands there glaring after them. "They'll be sorry they did that. Come on we're going home." Luke sighs but follows his sister anyway. Mizuki watches them leave and turns around to the others. "Well, they're gone but why did you choose to follow me?" "Mizuki, you're my best friend and just like my sister. I trust you with my life and I'm sure the others agree with me when I say you're the best alpha we've got and no one's going to replace you no matter what." 3

The others nodded and then Kallie says "You're my sister. I don't care who comes along, I follow you." Sara and Akira nod their agreement. Mizuki smiles slightly and they start walking again. "We first must find a new den. We can't go back to the den they'll be expecting us to return." Star walks beside her with Kallie, Sara, and Akira walking behind. Snow started to fall and Mizuki looks around for a place to keep warm and found a place with trees in a small little circle. She walks towards it and waits for everyone to walk inside and lay down. Mizuki lays in the middle and everyone huddles close and falls asleep.
