Rachel was pleased that something was finally done about Vanessa. She hoped and prayed that Vanessa would never come back. But she knew that was wish ful thinking. Rachel didn't mind going to school since Vanessa wasn't there picking on her. She thought everything was going to be ok till one day after school Rachel was heading to her bus when she saw Vanessa standing there. She tensed up not wanting to move but slowly moved towards the bus hoping she can get on it with out her doing anything. As she was heading to the bus watching Vanessa she sees her pull out a gun she begins to run towards her bus. When all of a sudden you hear bang Vanessa shot at her and Rachel fell to the ground all you hear is kids screaming and running. Teachers running towards Rachel and one running to the office to call for an ambulance. The teachers saying hold on there. Another teacher runs towards Vanessa grabs her and takes her to the office.2

Rachel became unconscious as she was lying there the principle notified Rachel's mother. The ambulance and police came, and rushed Rachel to the hospital as the police went in to talk to Vanessa. Vanessa raises the gun and begins to shoot at the officers. One officers ducks and knocks the gun out of her hand. Then she looks at him and raises her fists as she tried to hit him he slapped the cuffs on her. And reads her the rights, She sits there and laughs so hard, The devilish little laugh that you ever heard. She begins to sing I shot her, I shot her, the officer says to quite down. And howls her away to the police station.Mean while back at the hospital Rachel was in surgery were the bullet had punctured her lung. She was slowly slipping away. Rachel's mom crying in the waiting room not knowing what is going on thinking to her self that this girl needs some help. 3

Finally after waiting 8 and a half hours the doctor comes in and says a McGowan, Rachel's mother was hoping it was going to be Rachel's name they said another 15 minutes later passes another doctor comes in and talks to the other people in there. Rachel's mom decides to go out and ask the receptionist what was going on she replied the doctor should be out shortly. So she went back into the waiting room grabs a cup of coffee and sits down when a doctor comes in saying Rachel's name she jumps up and spills her coffee all over her. The doctor walks over to her and asks her to sit down. She was thinking that oh my god she is gone as tears were falling from her face. The doctor begins we had a few complications we had lost her but we were able to get her back again. This went on for a few minutes Rachel's mom asks my baby shes gone the doctor said no we were able to bring her back again but she is in a coma. 4

That they had repaired her the puncture were the bullet hit. She should be ok. As long as she wakes from her coma. The officer showed up at the hospital. Asking the doctors how she was and he had told them the same thing.Rachel's mom stands up and shakes the doctors hand when can I see my daughter. He tells her once we get her into her room you can go in. She walks over to the officer and asks him if he was the one on her daughters case. He said yes, I am she asks him what is going to happen to the girl who shot my daughter. He told her that it was up to the courts. She began to feel dizzy so she went in and sat down she ask the officer if she would be notified when it is time for Vanessa to go to court I want to make sure she gets what she deserves.5

The officer told her yes, then a woman walks up to her asks her if she was Rachel's mom she said yes and who are you. She said she was Vanessa's mom. Rachel's mom told her that she had alot of guts showing up here. For what her daughter has done. Vanessa's mom asked how she was Rachel's mom told her condition and Vanessa's mom apologizing up and down she told her that Vanessa was very sick. That ever since her dad died in a car accident she has been on a hatred cycle, Going around killing animals that were near her setting fires, betting, up walls, She has even pushed me down a fight of stairs. Rachel's mom asks why didn't you ever get her help. She said she had tried when things would start to look up. A few days later she be back at it again. 6

The doctor goes to Rachel's mom and says to her she can be with her daughter now and tells her that she is room 2030. She tells Vanessa's mom that she needed to be with her daughter now and they both went their own ways. Rachel's mom got to the her daughters room and pulls up a chair, grabs her hand and begins to cry. She keep asking her to please wake up. I need you to fight this. Please wake up, Rachel's mom begins to pray asking the lord not to take her daughter. Begging him and pleading to him promising him that she would start going to church if he would only allow her to wake. The doctor comes in to check on her. But still nothing she asks the doctor how long do you think it will take for her to wake up. The doctor replies it just depends it could be a few days to a few months. It just depends the doctor said.7

The officer on her daughters case came in and asked how she was? She told him there was no change. He told her that there was going to be a hearing on the case in the morning. She looked up at him and said I will be there. The officer asked if there was anything he could do for her? She looked up and said make her wake up. I won't my baby to wake up. The officer told her to get some rest. That he would check back in the morning to see if there are any changes. She said ok. So the officer left she thought to herself yeah right get some rest my daughter is in a coma how can I get any rest.
