Oh, flaming leaves of the almond tree!

It's September.Carefree childhood is the light-green hue of the almond's leaves.Flowering stalks punctuated the head of leaves which soon will become dark green - the vibrant and productive years of maturity.1

Before departing, the dark-green leaves [those that have successfully weathered time's rage and storms] would take the flaming hue of experience and wisdom - beauty unmatched!2

Then the final spiralling of the radiant leaves downwards [life's ultimate end!] would set the good fruits standing out and speaking well of you: that intimidating was life's whirlwind but you pluck courage and withstood it; oh, flaming leaves of the almond tree!3

This staory was amazing. You managed to talk about Autumn while actually it had another meaning besides that. A moral in a story. All in only 100 words. Good luck to you in the contest. I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.
