Once upon a time, there was a pretty little girl named Mary. One day, while playing near the empty well in the open fields, she saw a little lamb. It was lost, so she found it. It was hungry, so she fed it. It was lonely, so she was its friend. For years. The lamb was now a sheep and he trusted only Mary. He followed her everywhere. Mary had grown skinny and silent. She was sitting on the edge of the empty well one day. Mary let herself fall backwards. The sheep followed. Her face was white as snow.1

WONDERFUL!
Mary's so sad because the damn sheep wouldn't stop following her. This is an amazing job! I really love this. Sick and twisted just like I like my stories. Just like wow. AWESOME! Good luck (not that you need it) -
hmmm....She didn't need a lamb, she needed Lassie! Bummer!
I agree, the ending was pretty unexpected. I wonder why Mary was so sad...Oh well, next chapter, I guess.

Yes. Interestingly nice twist there.
I sure didn't expect that while reading... figured that Mary was going to eat the lamb or some such thing.
Nicely done. -
Ewwwwww.... This was a little bit on the twisted side. So why do I like the fact that you just shocked the bejesus out of me!? Very unexpected!! Great job! Good luck in the contest.
