She was scared of what might happen next, of what she was actually capable of. She was feeling ashamed of herself, well look at her, she’s a hopeless wreck.

“Maybe the pills with help? They will make me skinny, then I will be loved! Then I will be a SOMBODY!” with this reassurance that she gave herself, she picked up the packet and took one tablet out. With that, a sip of water and she was done.

That’s right 6 tablets later (when the recommended intake is no more than two within 4 hours. She didn’t care, she HAD to feel good somehow and this was the only way she could think of.

She fell to the floor unable to understand how she felt or how to fix it. She leaned back against the wall, and looked up at the ceiling (it didn’t even make sense how anybody would possibly produce that many tears and still they were flooding out like there was no tomorrow), then she closed her eyes to let the music take her away to a better place.

‘Getting lost within myself, nothing matters no one else’, the music lyrics explained how she felt. They made her feel less like an out cast and showed her that others have actually thought these same things.

After a minute of escape she broke down once more, the pills didn’t work. This time when she looked into her special box, one thing stood out from all of the others. It sparkled at her.

“Pick me up, use me, I will make all your troubles go away. You can not escape me. I will always win!” the urges were back. She used to have them all the time, so it was no surprise to her but she was sure she had gotten rid of them by now. For months she was rid of them, but no, they were back. And it’s true they always win.

She picked up her precious blade; she became over taken by exhilaration! She pulled up her sleeve, only a few visible scars were left there now. She places it on her wrist, she wanted to drag it across her bare skin, harder, deeper and more painful that ever before
