Lost Shore Chapter 3

Lost Shore:
Chapter Three
By Kila. and Brooke Sanders

"ZOMG!" Heather whispered, startled.
"What is WITH you and this chatspeak?!" Ame angrily whispered.
"I.....actually don't know." Heather replied.
"FOR THE LOVE OF GO-" Ame started and stopped herself.
"Both of you shut up!" Waas glared at them both.
The "thing" stared for a few seconds. It then walked up in quick strides to the building.
"SH-!" Heather almost yelled.
The "thing" just, for some odd reason, sniffed the white-washed wood of the house, and carried on to the rest of the robed creatures.
"What was that?" Heather asked, still in "OMG!- that thing is weird!" mode.
"It was-" Waas started.
"It was a Clyco, go to sleep." Ame said and flicked some dust in her eyes.

Heather looked around.
She breathed in that new car smell her parents car still carried after 3 months of riding in.
"Yes." she said in a cherry voice.
Whitney looked at her weird. Heather quickly scanned the page her book was on.
"Uh-I was right! I say his name right. See?" Heather flashed the book at Whitney. "It says here, 'So if you've been pronouncing Fai's name ryming with the word "eye", then you've been pronouncing it properly.' "
"Do I, like, care about that?" Whitney flashed her a last look before going and gawking at Pete Wentz in her magazine.
Typical, Heather thought.
She heard a bump. Then a scream. Then Pete came flying to her face.
They were falling of the cliff

"WAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!" Heather screamed as she woke up.
"What?" Ame intently stared at her.
Heather imedeately went and grabbed Ame by the arm.
"WEEERRREEE GOOOONNNNAAAA DIIIIEEEEE!!!!" she yelled.
Ame pushed her off and said, "You idiot, dream."
"Huh?"
Ame sighed, got up and took the book she was reading with her, and hit Heather upside the head with it.
"We are not going to DDDIIIIEEEE. It was a stupid dream. Get yourself, help." Ame said, as though talking to a kindergardener.
Heather stared at her blankly.
"Well, than, since you’re ready-"
"For what?" Heather inturrupted.
Ame hit her with the book. "You idiot, as always. To your death sentence. You see humans can't stay here. So then, off to the hanging we go!"

Ame opened the door cautiously, peeking out. "The Cyclos might still be wandering around. Sometimes a few lag behind."
Waas walked up to the door with Ame, Heather following obediently.

Ame turned back to Heather. "Okay. I think I know how to get you out of here." She glanced at Waas, who stared intently back at her. "We go see the Truecolor."

"Wha-"

"No way, Ame. It's way too dangerous. We could get killed," Waas said, stony faced.

"Come on. Where's your sense of adventure?"

Waas lashed out, punching the door right beside Ame's head.

"You almost just hit me! A... Are you crazy!?" Ame shreiked. "Come on, Heather!" She grabbed Heathers hand and pulled her along behind her. "To the Truecolor."

Heather looked back at Waas, who stared morbidly after them. She thought she saw a tear run down his cheek. But maybe it was just a trick of the light.1

Author notes

This is a short one comared to many of them. But it's still a chapter, more or less, and I'm proud to say I actually(with help...loads of that)go a halfway decent product.
